Rumours have been flying about for the rumoured upcoming iPhone SE 4, with leaks such as the phone possibly getting the A18 chip, two cameras and no action button, and even rumours that the phone will get an OLED display.

According to MacRumors, analysts from Barclays have "confirmed" that the iPhone SE 4 will be launching at the end of Q1 2025, which suggests a March launch in line with earlier rumours. This comes after the analysts met various electronics suppliers and manufacturers as part of a recent tour in Asia.

Other rumours include Apple ditching the Touch ID button in favour of Face ID, and that the iPhone SE 4 will feature the first Apple-designed 5G modem.

Apple has reportedly been working on developing its own 5G model for phones in order to reduce the company's dependence on Qualcomm. The iPhone SE 4 could lay the foundation for future iPhones to come with Apple's own 5G modem.

If the rumour that Apple Intelligence will be available on the phone is true, the iPhone SE 4 will probably also come with one of the newer A-series chips with at least 8GB of RAM.

The last iPhone SE was released in March 2022, so things do look to be shaping up nicely for a possible March 2025 iPhone SE 4 launch.
