Samsung to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 in late August?

While its Galaxy S8 smartphones are selling like hot cakes, Samsung is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8 in less than three months! 

The Korea Herald claims that Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 in late August. The timing is a little later than usual considering that Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Note7 in mid and early August respectively. Nonetheless, a late August launch would still be earlier than Apple's usual iPhone event in September, which would give Samsung a strategic edge. 

The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with a bigger display and an embedded fingerprint sensor. The rumored dual rear cameras are dubbed as the "most important upgrade" in the device by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
