Galaxy Note 8 to sport a bigger display and better camera than the Galaxy S8?
The rumor season for the Galaxy Note 8 has officially started.
The rumor cycle for the Galaxy Note series has officially started with the latest leak from Chinese social networking site Weibo.
The tipster claims that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a 6.3-inch display, which is slightly larger than the 6.2-inch display of the Galaxy S8+. This is not surprising since the Galaxy Note devices always have bigger displays than their Galaxy S siblings. You can also expect the Galaxy Note 8 to sport the same Infinity Display and bezel-less design as the Galaxy S8.
The Galaxy Note 8 is also said to be equipped with dual cameras on the back. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported in April that the Galaxy Note 8 would be Samsung's first dual-camera smartphone and dubbed the dual cameras as "the most important upgrade".
Other rumored specs include a 4K display, ultra-definition VR features, improved stylus features and enhanced iris authentication system. Samsung is also reportedly sourcing batteries from LG for the Galaxy Note 8.
