The pre-order and launch dates of Samsung's rumoured slimmer foldable phone have been supposedly revealed by a Korean retailer.

Based on the leaked image, Samsung will start taking pre-orders on 18 October in South Korea. Pre-orders will end on 24 October, and the phone will be available in retail on 25 October.

The image also revealed the actual name of the device, the Galaxy Fold6 Special Edition. Previous reports have suggested different names such as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim.

Having said all that, the image's authenticity cannot be confirmed. So take the above information with a pinch of salt.

A leaked photo of the Galaxy Fold6 Special Edition surfaced last month, which shows a Galaxy Z Fold6 variant with a thinner design, a slightly different camera island, and a brushed metal look.

Rumours indicate it will have a 200MP main camera, a 6.5-inch cover display, and an 8.0-inch main display. It is also said to be only available in China and South Korea.
