Android Headlines claims to have the first purported photo of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, previously referred as the Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim and the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, looks like the Galaxy Z Fold6 with a thinner design, a slightly different camera island on the rear, and a brushed metal look.

The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition will be 10.6mm and 4.9mm thick when folded and unfolded respectively. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold6 measures 12.1mm thick when folded and 5.6mm when unfolded. This means Samsung managed to shave off thickness of about 12% on the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in both form factors.

For the rear camera island, it seems to have adopted a less rounded shape and looked more chunky compared to the Galaxy Z Fold6.

Other rumoured specs include a 6.5-inch cover display, an 8.0-inch foldable main display, no S Pen support, and a titanium frame.

Samsung is believed to announce the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition around 25 September.
