You shouldn't use public Wi-Fi, but if you had to, this rumoured feature could be great.

iOS 19 users could enjoy a more seamless public Wi-Fi experience later this year.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims Apple plans to introduce a new public Wi-Fi enhancement feature in iOS 19. The feature reportedly syncs new public Wi-Fi networks across Apple devices, which would save users from the hassle of completing public Wi-Fi network forms on each device.

This means if you are logging into a public Wi-Fi at a gym or hotel, you'll only need to fill out the commonly needed public Wi-Fi form once. Once that is done, your other devices will be able to sign in without having to fill out that form again.

Apple is holding its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 on the week of June 9. It is expected to announce new versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS.

The iPhone maker is tipped to introduce a significant UI redesign for iOS 19, which could include a redesigned Camera app, rounded app icons, a new pill-shaped dock at the bottom of the screen, support for external displays, and a Stage Manager-like interface for enhanced multitasking.
