Samsung has announced it will host a virtual Galaxy Event on 4 September at 5.30pm SGT five days before Apple’s highly anticipated September iPhone event and just hours after Huawei’s Mate XTs event.

The online event will reveal “a more seamless mobile experience across a wider range of devices - from premium AI tablets to the newest member of the Galaxy S25 family.”

The new addition is expected to be the Galaxy S25 FE, which Samsung previously confirmed during its Q2 earnings call would launch earlier than planned. It might also preview an XR headset and a tri-fold smartphone.

Leaks suggest the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will feature only minor upgrades over the Galaxy S24 FE, including a slightly bigger battery, faster wired charging, and a slimmer design.

Alongside the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Tab S11 series at the event. With Google once again exiting the tablet market, the launch should put the South Korean company an edge in attracting more Android tablet users to its ecosystem.

The Galaxy Event will be streamed live on Samsung.com and Samsung’s YouTube channel. The South Korean company will also be at IFA 2025 from 5 to 9 September.
