Xiaomi to showcase SU7 Ultra EV and smart home products in new Jewel Changi Airport store
You can’t yet buy it, but you can soon experience it.
Be it coincidence or kismet, Xiaomi held a livestream exactly one day after our article about the construction hoarding that we spotted at Jewel Changi Airport.
Even though it was to focus on the upcoming Xiaomi 17 flagship smartphone series, Lu Weibing, Partner and President of Xiaomi, gave us a few details about this upcoming store.

We now know that it will open on 11 October 2025 and that it’s a self-managed store like the Funan and City Square Mall ones. If historical store launches are any indication, you can expect some good offers to be had in conjunction with the new store opening, so mark your calendars.
We reached out to Xiaomi for additional details, and we were informed that the new store will feature over 400 SKUs (’stock keep unit’, which is a logistics term to refer to a specific model and specification), encompassing smartphones, tablets, wearables and even smart home appliances.

Additionally, the store will also showcase a few exciting products that aren’t available in Singapore just yet. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra 4-door EV will be available for fans to check out, and we already know our petrolhead deputy editor will most likely be there to take a look.
Even smart home appliances like Xiaomi’s air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines will be showcased in Singapore for the very first time. Together, these will deliver Xiaomi’s vision of serving the entire Human x Car x Home ecosystem to fulfil almost all regular user touchpoints with their solutions. However, for the time being, only Xiaomi’s washing machines are currently available for purchase locally.

For the Mi fans as well as those who’ve been eagerly awaiting more Xiaomi options locally, this showcase at Jewel could mark the beginning of more to come in the near future.
