Comex 2017 - It's time to buy, buy, buy again!

Happening from August 31 to September 3 at Suntec Singapore, Comex is the place to be at if you want to fulfill your home entertainment, lifestyle electronics, office equipment, and travel technology shopping needs. Doors open from 11 AM for Level 3 and 12 PM for Level 4 and 6 each day. As always, admission is free.

Organized by the same folks who brought you IT Show and CEE, there’s once again a lot of activities planned for at this tech show, including a Tech Showcase area for you to try out the latest tech toys, a brand selfie contest, lucky dips with attractive prizes, and even places where you can go to SSD upgrades and free screen protectors. Of course, you can still trade-in old gadgets at Comex to get cash vouchers to spend at the show. And it's not just old PCs or mobile devices, you can also trade-in game consoles and e-mobility gear.

Apple

LG

The Acer XG270HU is a 27-inch, 2,560 x 1,440-pixel gaming monitor with a 144Hz TN panel. It supports HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, as well as AMD’s FreeSync for smooth gameplay. Going for $698, down from the usual $898.

The Predator X34A is a 34-inch, 3,440 x 1,440-pixel curved gaming monitor with an IPS panel for wide viewing angles. It’s a 4ms response time, is overclockable to 100Hz, supports 100% of the sRGB color space and NVIDIA’s G-Sync tech for smooth gaming visuals, and comes with a height-adjustable stand. Going for $1,299 (U.P: $1,499).

The T232HL is a 10-point, multi-touch 23-inch full HD monitor that uses IPS technology to achieve wide viewing angles. It supports a trio of inputs, including VGA, DVI, and HDMI; and has a built-in 4-port USB 3.0 hub. Get it at $498.

AOC

The AOC AGON AG271QG is a 27-inch, 2,560 x 1,440-pixel IPS display that supports NVIDIA G-Sync, a fast 165Hz refresh rate, with inputs like HDMI and DisplayPort. Going for $1,099, with free DisplayPort cable.

This AOC E1659FWU is a 15.6-inch USB monitor. It sports a 1,366 x 768-pixel resolution and an 8ms response time. Going for only $149.

ASUS

Mobile warriors, take note. The ASUS ZenScreen MB16AC is a thin 15.6-inch portable monitor that uses a single USB-C connection to transmit power and video signals. It comes with a smart cover, so like a tablet, you can easily prop the screen up on the table. Going for $439 at Comex.

The ROG Swift PG258Q is a 25-inch full HD gaming monitor with a native 240Hz refresh rate, and flexible connectivity options, including DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB 3.0. It also touts a TUV Rheinland-certified blue light filter and flicker-free backlighting. Going for $959, down from $1,099.

The MX34VQ is a 34-inch WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) curved IPS monitor with no fewer than three HDMI 2.0 ports. It has built-in Harman Kardon speakers, and even supports Qi wireless charging thanks to an embedded charging pad. Going for $1,449 (U.P: $1,589).

BenQ

The new BenQ Zowie XL2546 is a 24.5-inch, full HD monitor targeted at gamers. It combines a 240Hz refresh rate and BenQ’s DyAc tech to help maintain image clarity during gaming. It has an S Switch that lets you quickly access your personal gaming settings. Going for $769 at Comex.

Dell

The Dell S2318H is an affordable 23-inch full HD monitor going for just $199 at Comex. It’s equipped with VGA and HDMI video inputs, and comes with a 3-year advanced exchange warranty.

The Dell U2717D is a 27-inch QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) monitor with an “Infinity Edge” feature, which basically means it has very tiny bezels. Sporting HDMI/MHL, DisplayPort, and mini-DP connectivity, it also has an ergonomic stand with height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments. Going for $749.

The Dell S2718H is a 27-inch full HD monitor that supports AMD’s FreeSync tech for smooth gaming. It touts very thin bezels, and a lifelike viewing experience thanks to Dell HDR tech. Going for $439.

HP

The HP Envy 34 is a curved 34-inch monitor with a WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) resolution. It supports AMD FreeSync, has a 720p popup camera that’s Skype for Business certified, and plays nice with USB-C with power delivery. Going for $1,499.

This 24.5-inch HP Omen gaming monitor has a full HD TN panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It supports AMD FreeSync, as well as DisplayPort and HDMI connectivity. Going at Comex for $499, with 3 years on-site warranty.

LG

The 34UC79G is a 34-inch ultra-wide gaming monitor using a 2,560 x 1,080-pixel curved IPS panel. This giant monitor also supports a 144Hz refresh rate, AMD’s FreeSync tech, and touts a 5ms response time and a 1ms motion blur reduction feature. It also comes with useful features like a reader mode and split screen to make full use of its wide display. Going for $899 at Comex (U.P: $1,199), and comes with a Logitech G402 gaming mouse.

The 27MP58 is a 27-inch, full HD IPS monitor going for $279 (U.P: $379). It supports HDMI, and have common LG monitor features such as a reader mode and split screen functions. It supports HDMI 1.4 and has a tilting stand. Comes with 3 years on-site warranty.

The 27UD58 is a 27-inch 4K IPS monitor that supports AMD FreeSync. Response time is rated at 5ms, and there’s a Black Stabilizer mode that helps you see better in dark scenes. It has two HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.2 video inputs. Going for $699 (U.P: $749), and LG is throwing in a free pocket printer worth $169.

Philips

This Philips 274E5EDSB is a 27-inch IPS monitor with SoftBlue tech to protect your eyes. It sports a full HD resolution, VGA, DVI, and HDMI (MHL) connectivity, and a 5ms response time. Going for just $299.

The Philips 288P6LJEB is a 28-inch 4K monitor going for $799. It supports DisplayPort 1.2, VGA, DVI-Dual Link, MHL-HDMI, and even has built-in speakers and a USB hub. Comes with a free DisplayPort cable.

Prism+

The Prism+ X340 is a 34-inch curved gaming monitor with a 3,440 x 1,440-pixel resolution. It has a 100Hz refresh rate and the panel supports wide color gamut. The company (founded by Aftershock) is selling it here for $899 (U.P: $1,268).

There’s also an X315 that’s a 31.5-inch curved monitor with 144Hz refresh rate but with a full HD resolution. This is priced at a more wallet-friendly $450 (U.P: $668). If you intend to mount your display, you can look into purchasing one of the monitor arms that are on offer too.

Samsung

The Samsung C49HG90 is a giant 49-inch monitor with a 3,840 x 1,080-pixel resolution. It uses quantum dot technology for rich colors, has a refresh rate of 144Hz, and comes with a height-adjustable stand. You can pre-order it at Comex for $2,299 with free home delivery. You can also choose between 3 free gifts: a Secretlab Omega chair, a B&O Beoplay A2 Active speaker, or a 1TB Samsung T5 portable SSD.

The Samsung C24FG70 is a 23.5-inch 1080p curved gaming monitor that uses quantum dot technology for better colors. It’s a 1ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate, and supports AMD FreeSync. Going for $498 (U.P: $598).

The C32H711 is a 31.5-inch curved QLED monitor enhanced by Samsung’s quantum dot technology. Flanked by thin bezels, you get a wide 178-degree viewing angle, a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution, and a 4ms response time from this display. HDMI and mini-DisplayPort are supported, and their cables can be cleverly hidden in the stand. Going for $799 (U.P: $899).

ViewSonic

The ViewSonic VP2768 is a 27-inch IPS monitor with a WQHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440). Covering 99% of the sRGB color space, it supports DisplayPort and HDMI connectivity. Going for $799 at Comex (U.P: $899), with free DisplayPort, USB, and HDMI cables.

The VX3209–2K is a 31.5-inch monitor with a WQHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440). This IPS monitor has an 8ms response time, supports DisplayPort and HDMI connectivity, and is well-priced at $479.

Canon

The Canon G5 X comes with a large 1” 20.2MP sensor, f/1.8-2.8 lens with 4.2x optical zoom. Also, has built-in Wi-Fi and NFC, and that bump you see is an electronic viewfinder. Going for S$899 (price after cash back), with free 16GB SD card, NB13L battery, G5 X case, Sennheiser CX 1.00 earphones, and S$100 cash back.

The Canon EOS M6 is available for S$889 (price after cash back) for the body only, S$1,049 (price after cash back) with the 15-45mm kit lens, or S$1,489 (price after cash back) with the 18-150mm kit lens. The camera comes with a 24.2MP APS-C sensor and Dual Pixel AF. You’ll get a free 16GB SD card, camera insert, LPE17 battery and dry box, as well as S$150 cash back. There’s also a S$199 (U.P. S$329) electronic viewfinder DC2 purchase-with-purchase offer.

If it’s a DSLR you’re after and you don’t mind an oldie but a goodie, the Canon EOS 70D from 2013 is going for S$1,199 (U.P. S$1,699) with a 18-55mm kit lens. The 70D comes with a 20MP APS-C sensor with 19 AF points, all cross-type, and Dual Pixel AF for video recording. It comes with a free 16GB SD card, camera bag and LPE6 battery.

Casio

The Casio FR100L is the selfie camera for the sporty guy and gal. It comes with a large LCD screen, make-up HDR, Easy Legs lengthening mode, and is also waterproof, dustproof, shock-resistant, and low-temperature resistant. S$549 at Comex (U.P. S$699, price shown is after S$100 trade-in discount with any camera, and Alan Photo cash voucher), and comes with an Anello Boston mini bag, 16GB microSD card, S$50 Alan Photo cash voucher and Mefoto tripod.

The popular Casio TR80 lets you grab perfect selfies with its ability to swivel the screen around. It comes with make-up functions, a large 3.5” display, and double LED lights for clear selfies even in low-light. At Comex for S$999 (U.P. S$1,299), and comes with a free Legato Largo mini shoulder bag, 32GB microSD card and camera case.

If opulence is your look, you can pre-order the limited edition Casio TR80 in pearl white at Comex. The camera is studded with Swarovski crystals, and it comes with a clutch bag that’s decorated with even more Swarovski crystals. At S$1,299 each, only 100 sets will be available in Singapore.

Fujifilm

The Fujifilm X-T20 gives you a lot of the flagship X-T2 for a lower price. Now S$1,699 at Comex with the XC16-50mm II kit lens, S$1,999 with the XF18-55mm kit lens, and S$1,999 with the XC16-50mm II plus XC50-230mm kit lenses. Comes with free 16GB SD card, NPW126S battery, photo prints voucher, X-series product workshop, a Sirui bag, a Hello Kitty Instax camera, and S$50 cash back.

Despicable Me fans, get a load of the cute Fujifilm Instax Minion instant camera. It usually retails at S$159 but is going for S$149 at Comex.

If you ask us, however, we’re partial to this retro-looking Instax Mini 90, which comes in black or brown. Fujifilm is selling an Instax Mini 90 travel combo for S$219 (U.P. S$268), which includes an Instax mini magnet, mini film pack, Laporta album, marker and masking tapes.

Olympus

The Tough TG-5 is Olympus’ flagship rugged camera, which is waterproof, shockproof, freeze proof and crushproof. The camera comes with a f/2.0 lens, 4K video recording, and a TruePic VIII high-performance image processor. Available at Comex for S$668, with a free additional battery, 8GB Flash Air card, and 3-month local extended warranty.

The Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II is going for S$998 (U.P. S$1,148) with the 14-42mm kit lens and S$1,198 (U.P. S$1,348) with the 14-42mm and 40-150mm kit lens. The Olympus 30mm f/3.5 prime lens is marked as a purchase-with-purchase promotion. Sony is selling the RX100 versions III to V at Comex, the RX100 III is going for S$849 (price stated is after cash back, U.P. S$1,199). It comes with a free 16GB memory card and S$350 cash back. If you have the cash to spend, the Sony A9 is the creme de la creme of Sony’s full-frame mirrorless cameras. The A9 shoots 24MP at a whopping 20 frames per second with an incredible 693 phase-detection AF points covering almost the entire frame. Pay S$6,299 for the body only at Comex, with a free vertical grip thrown in.

Brother

If all you need is a monochrome printer for the occasional print job, the Brother HL-1210W is an affordable machine that prints up to 20ppm (A4) and comes with built-in WiFi. It’s S$88 (U.P. S$118) at Comex, with 3+2 years limited (parts only) carry-in warranty.

The Brother DCP-J562DW is an A4 color inkjet multifunction center that prints, copies, and scans. It has a print speed of up to 12ppm (mono) and 6ppm (color). Now S$168 (U.P. S$208) at Comex, with a 3 years carry-in warranty.

Canon

The Canon imageClass LBP6030w is a compact monochrome laser printer that is S$99 (U.P. S$149). It prints up to 18ppm and supports mobile printing, with built-in Wi-Fi. Comes with a free S$20 NTUC voucher.

The Canon MG3670 Pixma Wireless Photo All-in-One is going for S$99 (U.P. S$139) with a free black ink cartridge worth S$25.50. The printer does auto duplex printing, has built-in Wi-Fi and comes in black, white and red.

The Canon iB4170 is a business printer that’s going for 50% off, at S$109 (U.P. S$219). It has a 500 sheets high-capacity paper cassette, and prints up to 2,500 pages (mono). It uses water and marker resistant pigment ink and supports wireless printing. Comes with a free Targus bag and additional purchase-with-purchase S$15 NTUC voucher.

Epson

The Epson Expression Home XP-245 is a compact 3-in-1 home office inkjet printer that’s selling at S$88 (U.P. S$98), with a free S$20 NTUC voucher and trolley. The printer prints up to 27ppm (mono) and 15ppm (color) with Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Fuji Xerox DocuPrint M225 dw is a monochrome multifunction printer that prints, scans, and copies. It goes up to 26ppm, with auto duplex available for two-sided printing. HP

The HP OfficeJet 4650 e-All-in-One is a multifunction printer that prints, copies, scans, and faxes. The Straits Times likes the HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 e-All-in-One so much it gave it an Editor’s Choice for Best Printer, and it’s going for S$359 (U.P. S$459) now at Comex. The device prints, copies, scans and faxes, with a print speed of up to 24ppm (mono) and 20ppm (color). It has a 30,000 page-per-month duty cycle, auto duplex scanning and copying ability, with a scan resolution of up to 1,200dpi. Comes with a two years on-site exchange warranty, and a free S$50 Capita voucher, trolley, and one HP XL CMYK ink cartridge.

Samsung

The Samsung Xpress M2020W is a mono single-function laser printer spotted at Comex for S$128 (U.P. S$148), with a free Samsung Evo microSD 64GB card and OTG microSD card reader. The printer has built-in Wi-Fi and comes with a three-year carry-in warranty (hardware only).

The Samsung Xpress C430W is a color single-function laser printer that’s going for S$188 (U.P. S$298) at the PC Show, with a free Samsung Evo microSD 64GB card and OTG microSD card reader. The printer has Wi-Fi and comes with a three-year on-site warranty (hardware only).

The Samsung C480 comes in two flavors. The C480W is a 3-in-1 color laser multifunction printer that’s going for S$308 (U.P. S$428), with a free Samsung Evo microSD 64GB card, S$20 shopping voucher, and OTG microSD card reader. The C480FW is a 4-in-1 color laser multifunction printer that’s selling at S$428 (U.P. S$508), with a free Samsung Level Box Slim, Samsung Evo microSD 64GB card, and OTG microSD card reader. Both support Wi-Fi and come with three-year on-site warranties (hardware only).

ASUS

The ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 (review) is the first ROG router that the company designed specifically for the PC gaming community. It supports a total maximum bandwidth of 5,300Mbps and broadcasts up to three networks. With gaming -centric features like ROG Game Center and Game Boost that improve networking performance. The show price is $499 (UP: $559) and comes with a free ASUS gaming mouse and USB-AC53 wireless 802.11ac nano USB adapter. Do check out our review of this monster router here!

Launched in July this year, the ASUS Lyra Wi-Fi mesh networking system comes in white, and comprises three circular nodes that broadcast three frequency bands, and supports speeds of up to 2,200Mbps - 400Mbps on its single 2.4GHz band, and 867Mbps each on two of its 5GHz bands. Its mesh networking system dedicates a single high-speed 5GHz band for backhaul communications among Lyra nodes. It is retailing at $599 (UP: $659) and it’s bundled with a B&O Play Beoplay P2 portable Bluetooth speaker, worth $259!

The ASUS SmartHome was launched recently, and the full suite includes the SmartHome Gateway, Smart Siren, Smart Door Lock, and various sensors. The entire 6-in-1 package is priced at $699.

Aztech

The new Aztech dual-band AIR-706P router is touted as "mesh-ready" and can link up with other “mesh-ready” Aztech routers to form a distributed network of wireless nodes, or AON mesh, to blanket your entire abode with Wi-Fi signals. It has a theoretical aggregate throughput of 1,900Mbps. It has an introductory price of $269. Do check out its free gifts, i.e., an Aztech 3G Mobile Wi-Fi (MWR638) (worth $79) or Aztech Drip Filter Coffee Maker (AFC6600) (worth $149).

Launched about a year ago, the Aztech WIPC411FHD security camera can still be considered an affordable home security system. It records full HD video, with wide viewing angles (90-degrees). It can function as a 2-way intercom with its built-in mic and speaker . It also supports remote pan (355-degrees), tilt (120-degrees) and zoom (3x digital). It is retailing at $219 now!

The D-Link DIR-882 is an AC2600-class, dual-band router, with throughput speeds of up to 800Mbps on its 2.4GHz network and 1,733Mbps on its 5GHz network. Total them up for an aggregate speed of 2,533Mbps. It features Advanced AC SmartBeam for more efficient transmission, and also supports MU-MIMO technology. It retails for $199 at the show.

Google Wifi

Google Wifi, the wireless mesh router developed by Google, has officially launched in Singapore, making us the first country in Southeast Asia to have the honor of this exclusive launch. Speaking of exclusivity, currently, only StarHub customers will get to enjoy the device; they will be able to get a three-pack Google Wifi at S$0 upfront cost when they sign up for or renew selected StarHub Broadband or Hubbing all-in-one plans. The plans include StarHub’s 1Gbps Fibre Broadband plan as well as multi-service SurfHub, HomeHub 1000 and HomeHub Go 1Gbps bundles.

Linksys

The Linksys Velop (review) consists of three nodes and each is essentially a tri-band router on its own. Each node has two 2x2 radios that broadcast a single 2.4GHz network and another 5GHz network. The 2.4GHz network supports a maximum speed of 400Mbps, whereas the two 5GHz networks support a maximum speed of 867Mbps. Add them all up, and you get 2,134Mbps, which also explains its AC2200-class rating. The entire set can be yours for $599!

The Linksys EA9300 is an AC4000-class tri-band router that supports MU-MIMO technology. It is powered by a new 1.8GHz quad-core processor and it supports a combined throughput of 4,000Mbps on its single 2.4GHz network and two 5GHz networks. Maximum speed on the 2.4GHz network is 750Mbps, while maximum speed on the 5GHz network is 1,625Mbps; it all adds up to a total of throughput of 4,000Mbps. It’s priced at $349!

The Linksys RE7000 Max-Stream AC1900+ Wi-Fi range extender is meant for non-techies as it’s easy to install. This range extender supports MU-MIMO streaming but do note that it lacks a pass-through electrical outlet. It is retailing at a special show price of $149 (UP:$199).

Netgear

The Netgear Nighthawk X10 AD7200 Smart WiFi router is one of the few clients on the market to take advantage of the 802.11.ad standard and 160MHz Wi-Fi features. So if you want to be at the cutting edge of home wireless networking for 4K streaming and VR gaming, this igh-end, feature-packed router can be yours for $699!

The Netgear Orbi is one of the most effective Wi-Fi systems for large homes, despite it not being a  Itrue mesh networking system. It has a single, dedicated 5GHz high speed network for backhaul transmissions, and offers a single 2.4GHz network and 5GHz network for client use. The RBK50 kit consists of an Orbi router and a satellite, for a special price of $549 (only for first 20 customers; U.P $649).

The Netgear Arlo Pro waterproof cameras are wireless, and run on rechargeable batteries. The 720p cameras also have night vision, motion sensors with pan and zoom capabilities. The system also comes with free cloud storage that saves anything recorded up to seven days prior. The entire 3-camera system is retailing for $649.

The new Prolink PRC3801 wireless router is one of the competitively-priced dual-band AC1200 Gigabit router with support for MU-MIMO technology. With a special show price of only $79, this device is right up the alley for bargain hunters!

Portal

The Portal Wi-Fi mesh networking system has a special feature called Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) or FastLanes, allowing the Portal router to use 5GHz channels that are typically reserved for radar use by the military and weather services. The router is essentially AC2400-class dual-band router that supports speeds of up to 2,400Mbps on its 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Each Portal router retails for $249 and additional Portal routers can be added to expand Wi-Fi network. Their backhaul communications can be through Wi-Fi or a wired connection.

The TP-Link Deco M5 is a true mesh networking system. The nodes can be daisy-chained, making it ideal for multistory homes or homes with long layouts. According to the company, up to 10 Deco M5 nodes can be used to form a large network. It retails for $399 now.

Another show favorite is the TP-Link Talon AD7200 (review) that supports 802.11ad, a super-fast wireless standard that offers speeds of up to 4,600Mbps; however, the 802.11ad wireless protocol is limited in range. If your supported device is out of its 60GHz band, the router also supports 802.11ac standard, delivering transfer speeds of up to 1,733Mbps and 800Mbps on its 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands respectively. You can pick it up from the show floor for $469.

The TP-Link Archer 3150 is dual-band router that supports up to 1000Mbps on its 2.4GHz band and 2167Mbps on its 5GHz band. It also supports NitroQAM technology. As a show special, the router is retailing at $239 (UP: $299), after a trade-in promotion.

Asustor

The Asustor AS3202T features a quad-core Intel Celeron CPU. It is ideal as a file server and NAS, as well as a media server with its support for 4K HDMI video output. Bundled with a 4TB Seagate Ironwolf HDD, the system is priced at $593.

Kingston

The Kingston A400 is the firm’s entry-level SSD for end users. The drive is is powered by the Phison S11 controller, and features Toshiba’s 2d planar 15nm TLC NAND flash. The 480GB drive is available at the show now.

Samsung

The new Samsung Portable SSD T5 is compact, smaller than the length and width of an average name card, and weighs just 51g. It has transfer speeds reaching 540MB/s. The prices are as follows: Samsung Portable SSD T5 (250GB) - $179, (500GB) - $279, (1TB) - $559. The Samsung Portable SSD T5 (2TB) costs $1,229, and as a show special, you get a free Samsung microwave oven.

The Samsung SSD 960 Pro (review) M.2 SSD is slightly cheaper, with the 2TB consumer SSD priced at $1,859, compared to its previous list price of $1,909, at a previous major tech show. It’s a consumer favorite and the NVMe SSD also garnered accolades at our Tech Awards 2017. Prices start from $459 for the 512MB version, the 1TB version is priced at $909. All purchases come with a free gift, i.e., a SteelSeries gaming mouse.

The Samsung SSD 850 Pro (review), with the largest capacity of 2TB in the series, is also retailing at a slight discount, at a price of $1,329. The listed prices for other capacities start from $209 for the 256GB version, the 512GB drive goes for $369, and the 1TB is retailing for $709. The Samsung SSD 850 Pro is one of the speediest consumer SSDs on the market, and they are backed with a local 10-year limited warranty.

Seagate

The Seagate Backup Plus portable HDD 5TB retains its svelte profile with a thickness of 20.5mm. The drive is supported on both PCs and Macs, and it’s bundled with Seagate Dashboard utility for your backup requirements. It retails for $239, the 4TB version is going for $179, and there’s a limited-edition gold version 4TB drive at the show!

The Seagate Backup Plus Hub is a desktop drive featuring an integrated USB hub with a pair of USB 3.0 ports. The 4TB drive is $169 (U.P $269), while the 6TB and 8TB capacity versions are priced at $319 (U.P $459) and $399 (U.P $499) respectively.

The Seagate DJI Fly Drive offers up to 2TB of storage and features an integrated USB-C cable; however, what distinguishes this portable HDD is its built-in microSD card slot. The slot is designed to make quick work of transfering drone footage over to the drive while the user is out in the field. The slot is rated for cards up to UHS-II speeds. The Seagate DJI Fly Drive is priced at $169.

Synology

The Synology DS1817+ is an 8-bay NAS is considered a low-cost, SME-level NAS, with 8GB of RAM. It retails at $1,446.

Toshiba

The Toshiba FlashAir W-03 wireless SD card is on sale at the show, the 32GB card goes for $35, and the 64GB is retailing at $55.

Transcend

The Transcend ESD220C portable SSD weighs only 52g, and measures 77- by  55.7- by 9.6mm. It comes in three capacities, 120GB ($119), 240GB ($199), andd 480GB ($369).  The drive is bundled with a USB Type-C to Type-A cable.

Western Digital

The WD My Cloud Mirror comes with two drives configured in RAID 1 for enhanced protection. Prices begin at $399 for the 4TB model. There are also additional 6TB and 8TB models at the show, they are priced at $499 and $599 respectively.

The WD Blue SSD is offered in three capacities: 250GB ($129), 500GB ($219), and 1TB ($429). The SSD features a Marvell 88SS1074 controller, and the drive is positioned as mainstream offering from the company.

The WD Black PCIe SSD is only available in the M.2 2280 form factor, with two capacities, 256GB ($185) and 512GB ($309). The company claims the drive has comprehensive thermal throttling and power management algorithms to prevent overheating and maintain high performance at all times.

Acer

The Acer Predator 17 is a 17.3-inch notebook powered by an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD. It is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB and a G-Sync display for a more fluid gaming experience. It is selling for $2,898 (U.P. $3,198), and you’ll also get a free Predator gaming backpack and a 3-year internet security subscription.

The Acer Predator Helios 300 is one of Acer’s newer notebooks. It comes with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD. The 15.6-inch 1080p display is powered by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. You can get it at $2,098 (U.P. $2,498), together with a free Predator gaming backpack and a 3-year internet security subscription. 

The Acer Switch 5 is an evolution of the original Switch 12 Alpha, featuring the same silent LiquidLoop cooling technology. It features an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. As a 2-in-1 device with a detachable keyboard, it is versatile and can be used as a tablet as well. It is available at $1,698 (U.P. $1,898), and comes with a free copy of Microsoft Office 365 Personal, an Acer Protective Sleeve, and a Creative Sound Blaster Jam Bluetooth headset.

Aftershock

The Aftershock Prime-15 stands out because of how slim it is for a gaming notebook, measuring just 18.9mm thick. The NVIDIA Max-Q model comes with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 500GB Samsung 850 EVO M.2 SSD. Graphics is handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU. It can be yours for $2,671 (U.P. $2,966), along with a free Trend Micro anti-virus subscription, Aftershock backpack, and a professional color calibration service. In addition, an extra $145 will net you an upgrade to a 120Hz display.

The Aftershock Impulse V2 is a compact PC with the power of a full-sized desktop. It houses an Intel Core i5-7500 processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 3GB card. For storage, it has a 250GB Samsung EVO 850 M.2 SSD and a 1TB HDD. It is available for $1,728, together with a free copy of Trend Micro anti-virus. 

The Aftershock Next is the company’s first AIO PC. It comes equipped with a 32-inch 1,920 x 1,080-pixel 144Hz display for a butter-smooth experience, in addition to an Intel Core i5-7500 processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB. It is available for $1,927 (U.P. $2,076), together with a free Trend Micro anti-virus subscription. That said, you can even upgrade to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti for $940 if you wish.

Alienware 

The 13.3-inch Alienware 13 is powered by an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. You’ll also get a 512GB PCIe SSD for storage. It is available for $2,699 (U.P. $2,899), with 2-year premium support that includes accidental damage coverage.

ASUS

The ASUS UN65U is a diminutive PC equipped with an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB HDD. However, if you’re concerned about the lack of an SSD, it also comes with 16GB of Intel Optane Memory for an additional speed boost. It is selling for $1,059 (U.P. $1,099), and comes with a free ASUS wireless keyboard and mouse and a 3-year on-site warranty.

The ASUS UX430 comes with an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB SSD. It also features a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 940MX graphics card for some extra graphics processing heft. It is available at $1,598 (U.P. $1,698), together with a free anti-virus subscription, sleeve case, and USB-to-LAN dongle.

The ASUS FX502VM is an affordable notebook equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, which should run just about any game at 1080p. It also features an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB HDD. Unfortunately, there’s no SSD, but for $1,598 (U.P. $1,898), you get freebies including an ROG Compact Case, 1-year anti-virus subscription, notebook bag, and gaming mouse.

Dell

The 15.6-inch Dell Inspiron 15 7000 comes with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 8GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. For storage, it comes with a 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD. This is a gaming notebook for those on a budget, and it is selling for just $1,599 (U.P. $1,799), together with a free Dell Gaming Backpack and a pre-installed 1-year subscription of McAfee LiveSafe.

The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 can be thought of as the convertible version of the popular XPS 13 notebook. It features an Intel Core i5-7Y54 processor, 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. Its 13.3-inch display has a crisp 3,200 x 1,800-pixel resolution, and boasts the same edge-to-edge look as the XPS 13. It is available for $2,499 (U.P. $2,699), and comes bundled with a free Dell Active Pen, X-Mini Click 2 Bluetooth speaker, and a pre-installed 1-year subscription of McAfee LiveSafe.

The Dell XPS 13 is a svelte ultrabook with a gorgeous 13.3-inch edge-to-edge display. It comes with an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. It is selling for $1,699 (U.P. $1,999), together with a free Dell Type-C to VGA adaptor, XPS 13 Premier Sleeve, a pre-installed 1-year subscription of McAfee LiveSafe, and a 1-year subscription of Absolute LoJack.

Dreamcore

The Dreamcore Alpha is an entry-level gaming PC targeted at budget gamers, but it can be configured with fairly high-end hardware as well. It is powered by an Intel Core i5-7500 processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB. On the storage front, you'll get a 120GB SSD and a 1TB HDD. It is available for $1,299 (U.P. $1,449), and you'll also get a free upgrade to RGB LEDs and braided cables. 

The Dreamcore Reverie Pro is a high-end PC equipped with an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. You can install your games on the 250GB SSD or 2TB HDD, which should be more than enough room. It is available at $4,509 (U.P. $4,705) and comes with a 3-year warranty.

Gigabyte

The Gigabyte Sabre 15 comes with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB. For storage, you'll get a 128GB SSD and an additional 1TB HDD. The display is a 15.6-inch 1,920 x 1,080-pixel panel, while the keyboard boasts customizable RGB backlighting. You can get it at $1,679 (U.P. $1,799) together with a 2-year warranty and free gaming mouse. 

HP

The HP Omen 15 is powered by an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. It also comes with a 256GB PCIe SSD and a 1TB HDD, on top of a 120Hz IPS display. It is selling for $2,299 (U.P. $2,599), together with a free McAfee subscription and Omen Backpack (while stocks last). 

The HP Spectre x360 convertible is a compact 13.3-inch device with an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe SSD. It also comes with quad Bang & Olufsen speakers for an improved audio experience. It is available for $1,999 ($2,199), together with a free McAfee subscription, HP Carry Case, and an upgrade to a 2-year on-site warranty.

The HP Envy 13 is an affordable notebook with an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB LPDDR3 RAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. It features dual Bang & Olufsen speakers, and HP is claiming up to 14 hours of battery life for a peace of mind away from a power outlet. It is selling at $1,199 (U.P. $1,399), together with a free McAfee subscription and HP Carry Case.

Lenovo

The Lenovo Legion Y720 is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop equipped with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card. You'll also get a 256GB PCIe SSD and 1TB HDD to go with it. It is selling at $2,199 (U.P. $2,499), and comes bundled with a free 2-year extended warranty, a 2-year anti-virus subscription, a Lenovo Backpack, and a Lenovo gaming mouse and mouse pad. 

The Lenovo Yoga 910 is a sleek 2-in-1 device equipped with an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a generous 512GB PCIe SSD. You can get it at $1,999 (U.P. $2,399), and it comes bundled with a ton of freebies including a 2-year extended warranty, a 2-year McAfee Internet Security subscription, a Samsonite Carrying Case and a Type-C USB to VGA cable.

LG

The LG Gram 15 is a 15.6-inch notebook that weighs a lot less than it looks. It weighs a mere 1.09kg and comes with an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. It can be yours for $2,248 (U.P. $2,599), together with a free upgrade to a 3-year warranty, a wireless mouse, a 1TB HDD, and a Microsoft Office 365 Personal subscription.

Microsoft

The new Microsoft Surface Pro boasts an Intel Core i5-7300U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. It can be paired with the new Surface Pro Signature Type Cover, supports a new and more sensitive Surface Pen, and claims longer battery life than its predecessor. It costs $1,788, and comes with a free Creative Sound Blaster Jam Bluetooth headset.

MSI 

The MSI GL62M 7RD features an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 2GB. This is an entry-level notebook, so there's no SSD to be found here, and you'll need to settle for a 1TB HDD. It can be yours for $1,339 (U.P. $1,498), and comes with a 2-year warranty.

The MSI GE62VR features an Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB graphics card. You’ll also have a 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD for storage, and a RGB backlit keyboard designed by SteelSeries. It costs $2,199 and comes with a free gaming mouse and headset.

Razer

The updated Razer Blade Stealth comes with a 13.3-inch QHD display and slimmer bezels, but most other features remain the same as on the original. You get an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 256GB SSD, in addition to a keyboard backlit with Razer's Chroma lighting. You can get it at $2,149, along with a free Razer Deathadder Elite and laptop protective sleeve.

Bang & Olufsen 

Bang & Olufsen is making an appearance at this show, and they’ve got the BeoLit 17 wireless speaker on sale. Get it for a show special of $679, down from the usual of $749. Not a bad price for this stylish wireless speaker that offers 360 audio and up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge. Find out more about it here.

Creative

The Creative Sound BlasterX Katana is again on offer at this PC Show 2017, and it's going for $399, down from the usual of $448. Simply ask any of the show staff to get the $50 "voucher" reduction. You’ll also get a free optical cable while stocks last. So all in, a pretty good deal for this 24-bit High Res Audio capable mini soundbar with woofer.

For something smaller, check out the Sound Blaster FRee. This is multifunction Bluetooth speaker is going for just $79, almost half the usual price of $149. Certainly a good price for a speaker that's IPX4 certified and uses two custom-tuned Neodymium drivers and twin passive radiators to provide full-range sound.

Of course, there's always the Creative X7. Get the limited edition for just $488 with free optical cable, or get it with with the E-MU XM7 and a 144W Booster Power Adapter for just $588, down from the usual price of $1027. There's also a trade-in promotion where you can get a $100 voucher by trading in your old Roar or Roar 2 (with power adapter) , so the whole set could cost you as low as $488!

Elysium

Here's a speaker from a new local company. The Elysium Iron Mini is a retro-looking Bluetooth speaker that has an included FM radio and is able to pump out 20W of power. It's going for the usual of $99 at the show, but you'll get a free TZLA Slim 2600mAh powerbank thrown in. 

JBL

JBL is also at the show, and they’ve got the Flip 4 Bluetooth Speaker for sale at $161. That’s $18 down from the usual price of $179.  That’s a pretty good for this wireless speaker that features a IPX7 waterproof rating and 3000mAh battery that’s good for 12 hours of playback.

Klipsch

Klipsch has their new The Capitol One speakers for sale at the show. The limited edition is going for just $474, down from the usual price of $499. And you'll get a free vinyl record thrown in (collect at the show). Not too bad for this wireless speaker that features a biamplified 2.1 stereo system and uses real wood veneer and tactile spun copper switches. 

For something smaller, look to the Groove. It too supports Bluetooth streaming, and is IPX4 splash proof certified with an eight-hour battery life to match so you can bring it out for the day with no concerns. It’s going for $229 at the show, down from the usual price of $259. 

UE

Ultimate Ears has the UE Boom 2 for sale at this show. Waterproof with a 15 hr battery, the speaker is available in a range of colorways and is going for just $189 at the show, down from the usual of $249. And you'll get a free gift pack worth $100 that consists of a free Go-Rock Bluetooth speaker, a Laser mouse, Numeric keypad, and USB lamp. Plus a chance to spin and win! Otherwise, look to the slightly smaller UE Wonderboom. Small but powerful, the Wonderboom is waterproof, gives 10 hours of playback,and can be paired with another Wonderboom for double the sound. It’s going for $99 at the show, down from the usual of $149. You'll also get a free gift pack worth $80 that consists of a free McGear speaker, a wired mouse, card reader, and USB lamp.

Prolink has a whole host of speakers available for selection at Comex, going for as low as $10.90 for this Travelbeats Portable Stereo Speaker. That’s just over a third the usual price of $29.90, so grab it now!

Otherwise, look at the Sonority 2 speakers. These are going for $14.90 each, about half the usual price. Get two at $28.90 for even more savings!

Samsung

Samsung has pretty good deals on soundbars at the show, amongst them the new MS6501 Sound+ soundbar. This has a subwoofer embedded right into the primary unit, and both soundbar and TV can be powered by a single power source. It’s going for just $499, way below the RRP of $899.

Otherwise, look to the HWM-4501.  This is a wireless soundbar that's going for just $399, down almost half the usual price of $699. It's worth noting that NSMen will be able to use their NS50 vouchers to purchase Samsung TV/AV products at Comex booth 8245, and that you'll get $50 for purchases of 49" and above QLED TVs Premium UHD TVs, and UHD TVs just by flashing your SAFRA card. (Limited to the first 500 customers, while stocks last)

Sonos

Sonos is also at the show, and they’re offering 5% of all speakers so the Sonos Sub for example, can be had for just $1234 instead of the usual price of $1299.

We’d recommend taking a look at one of the movies bundles. For example, get a simple 3.1 setup with the PlayBar/Playbase and Sub for $2468 instead of the usual price of $2598. You’ll also get an additional $100 Cash rebate, bringing the final price down to $2368.

Otherwise, consider instead the Play:5 with 2 Play:1s and Boost bundle.This is going for just $1,799, down from the usual of $1,996. Great for this setup that can easily fill a mid-sized room with robust sound.

Sony 

For a compact soundbar, check out Sony’s HT-MT300. This is going for $549, down $50 from the usual price of $599. It’s a modestly sized wireless soundbar that uses S-Force PRO Front Surround technology to deliver quality surround sound.

Otherwise, check out the HT-CT290. This usually retails for $449, but it’s also $50 off so you can now get it for $399. That’s a good price for this soundbar system that offers 2.1 Ch surround sound and features S-Force PRO Front Surround technology for immersive, cinema-style sound.

X-mini

If you’re looking for a pocketable speaker that still packs a punch, check out the X-mini XOUNDBAR. It measures just 21.5mm thick, but uses custom flat drivers to still deliver quality reproductions across the entire audio spectrum. No change in price for this, as it’s still going for $49.90, but you can get a second for 15% off, which is great as you can then pair the two wirelessly for a true stereo experience.

Casio

Looking for Smartwatch that handles the great outdoors as well as you do? Then you'll want to pop by Casio's booth. The ProTrek WSD-F20 is still going for the usual price of $699, but you'll get a free Casio Limited Edition Tote Bag and a Plantronics Backbeat Go 2 Bluetooth headset thrown in. That's a combined value of $188, and you get a smart watch that stores full color maps for offline use and uses a dual-layer LCD for better battery performance.

Fitbit

The Fitbit Surge is on sale at Comex 2017, and it’s going for $199,down from the usual of $368. This handy wearable comes with Purepulse heart feature which does continuous, automatic, heart rate tracking from your wrist, and includes GPS tracking so you can more accurately track your runs.  Find out more about it here.

Samsung

The Samsung Q8C is one of Samsung’s flagship 4K TVs this year. The curved TV uses QLED technology to achieve high brightness and deep colors for HDR, and it has a smart remote that can control multiple devices. It also reduces cable clutter thanks to a thin, near-invisible fiber optics cable. The 65 and 55-inch models are available here for $5,799 and $3,999 respectively. Free gifts include a 55-inch TV. The MU8000 is also a new 4K UHD TV from Samsung this year. While it doesn’t use QLED tech, it still goes up to 1,000 nits in brightness, making it suitable for HDR content. Sony

The Bravia A1 is Sony’s first large-screen 4K HDR TV to use OLED technology. Not only does the picture look good, the design also stands out. Looking for an entry-level 4K TV? Consider the X7000E, which supports HDR, has Sony’s ClearAudio+ tech for rich sound, and sports a narrow aluminum frame and clever cable management features. The midrange Bravia X9000E is a bright 4K HDR TV running the Android TV platform. The ViewSonic LS830 is a full HD, 4,500-lumen laser projector with a 20,000-hour lifespan. It’s also an ultra-short-throw (0.23) projector. Going for $4,500 here (U.P: $5,988).

ASUS

The ASUS Cerberus V2 is your entry-level gaming headset with massive 53mm Aura Essence drivers, a stainless steel headband, and wrap-around ear cushions. It’s going at a low S$89 (U.P. S$129) over at the ASUS booth on Level 3.

If you’re looking to splurge a little more, there’s the ASUS Strix Wireless gaming headset with 2.4GHz wireless technology. It has a 900mAh battery that offers approximately 10 hours of nonstop use per full charge, which is excellent for gamer folks with good gaming stamina. It’s now S$179 (U.P. S$199) over at the ASUS booth on Level 3.

ASUS fans would be familiar with their gamer-specific sub-brand, ASUS ROG. Headphones are also a part of this, with the ROG Centurion gaming headset offers true 7.1 surround sound via its ten discrete drivers. Audio Technica

For professional quality headphones, the ATH-M50x offers studio-monitoring quality at an accessible price point. Its S$198 discounted price (U.P. S$228) also comes with a bonus hard-case pouch worth S$68. Grab them at the Audio Technica booth in the back of Comex 2017’s Level 4 area.

Around the corner lies the ATH-ANC9. These stylish headphones offer excellent noise-canceling capabilities. As a star buy, they are going at S$198 (U.P. S$248) with a free tie pin worth S$8. Grab them at the Audio Technica booth in the back of Comex 2017’s Level 4 area.

While it’s not the sexiest Audio Technica product, the ATH-CKR100iS provides pure mastery over the sound quality with its dynamic 13mm Dual Phase Push-Pull drivers held in pure iron yokes. A stainless steel acoustic resistor is used for clearer highs, and a separate bass acoustic resistor is used for better low-frequency response. Creative

Creative Outlier headphones have a MicroSD card slot, allowing you to play songs directly from the gadget without the need for another MP3 player. These wireless cans can also read out your incoming messages, but only if you’re using an Android device. Now, it’s S$129 (U.P. S$199). You can knock it further down to S$79 if you’re a Creative member. To find out more, go to their booth (Booth 6141).

Erato

Enter Erato’s Apollo 7s, a redesign of the popular Apollo 7 true wireless ear buds. What’s new is their proprietary 3D surround sound technology designed to enhance the user’s music-listening experience. It’s retailing at a special S$449 (U.P. S$499) over at Nubox (Booth 311), Best Denki (Booth 8303), Challenger (Booth 6241).

Erato’s latest true-wireless earbuds are modeled after their Apollo 7, but the new stuff fixes the common flaws of in-ear audio devices (like the poor bass response). The U-Jays Wireless is the cable-free variant of the company's popular U-Jays headphones. JBL

The JBL E55BT is a pair of wireless over-ear headphones with a 20-hour battery life that only requires two hours to recharge. JBL E45BT offers 16 hours of battery life with a two-hour recharge time. Like the other pair above, it’s a pair of wireless headphones with built-in one-button remote microphone. Marshall

The Marshall Major II headphones provide up to 30 hours of wireless playback using Bluetooth connectivity. Its detachable double-ended coil cord comes with remote controls and a microphone, and its 3.5mm audio port lets you share music with a friend when you are channeling the audio wirelessly. It is now available at S$229 (U.P. S$259) at Nubox (Booth 311).

Marshall Mode EQ is a variant of the Marshall Mode in-ear headphones that features a hard switch for flipping between regular and boosted sound signatures. There’s also a microphone and remote for smartphone compatibility. It’s going at S$119 (U.P. S$139) over at Nubox (Booth 311).

Plantronics Backbeat FIT uses a behind-the-ear design, helped along with its soft flexible neckband. As an active-lifestyle audio companion, it has a rated IP57 resistance that grants it protection from perspiration. On it, you can also find controls for calls and tunes, and it can remember up to eight devices for Bluetooth pairing. It’s now S$159 (U.P. Sennheiser

Sennheiser has their Momentum 2 On Ear headphones on the show floor. It features a closed supra-aural configuration, and it uses Alcantara for its ear pads. It’s going at S$169 (U.P. S$319), which is a steep discount. Find it at their booth on Level  4 (Booth 8338).

The Sennheiser Momentum Wireless is an over-ear headphone pair with its proprietary NoiseGard – a hybrid adaptive noise cancellation technology – built into the headset. It also comes with NFC, which allows for wireless pairing to devices with a simple tap. It’s now at S$359 (U.P. S$699).

 

Sony

Sony’s back to the show floor and their high-end Sony MDR-1000X is here. This wireless, noise-cancelling headphone is compatible with Hi-Res Audio. As indicated on the box, you can get them at S$449 (U.P. S$599). Find them at the huge Sony booth on Level 4 (Booth 8115).

SteelSeries Siberia 200 The SteelSeries Siberia 200 gaming headphones pack 50mm drivers in a lightweight body, making it a popular, long-standing option for gamers around the globe. It’s now S$89 (U.P. S$129). You can find it at Level 6.

Acer

The Acer XG270HU is a 27-inch, 2,560 x 1,440-pixel gaming monitor with a 144Hz TN panel. It supports HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2, as well as AMD’s FreeSync for smooth gameplay. Going for $698, down from the usual $898.

The Predator X34A is a 34-inch, 3,440 x 1,440-pixel curved gaming monitor with an IPS panel for wide viewing angles. It’s a 4ms response time, is overclockable to 100Hz, supports 100% of the sRGB color space and NVIDIA’s G-Sync tech for smooth gaming visuals, and comes with a height-adjustable stand. Going for $1,299 (U.P: $1,499).

Alienware

The Alienware AW2518HF is a 24.5-inch, 1080p gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. It also supports AMD FreeSync. It has four USB 3.0 ports, too. Going for $719.

AOC

The AOC AGON AG271QG is a 27-inch, 2,560 x 1,440-pixel IPS display that supports NVIDIA G-Sync, a fast 165Hz refresh rate, with inputs like HDMI and DisplayPort. Going for $1,099, with free DisplayPort cable.

ASUS

The ROG Swift PG258Q is a 25-inch full HD gaming monitor with a native 240Hz refresh rate, and flexible connectivity options, including DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB 3.0. It also touts a TUV Rheinland-certified blue light filter and flicker-free backlighting. Going for $959, down from $1,099.

BenQ

The new BenQ Zowie XL2546 is a 24.5-inch, full HD monitor targeted at gamers. It combines a 240Hz refresh rate and BenQ’s DyAc tech to help maintain image clarity during gaming. It has an S Switch that lets you quickly access your personal gaming settings. Going for $769 at Comex.

HP

This 24.5-inch HP Omen gaming monitor has a full HD TN panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It supports AMD FreeSync, as well as DisplayPort and HDMI connectivity. Going at Comex for $499, with 3 years on-site warranty.

LG

The 34UC79G is a 34-inch ultra-wide gaming monitor using a 2,560 x 1,080-pixel curved IPS panel. This giant monitor also supports a 144Hz refresh rate, AMD’s FreeSync tech, and touts a 5ms response time and a 1ms motion blur reduction feature. It also comes with useful features like a reader mode and split screen to make full use of its wide display. Going for $899 at Comex (U.P: $1,199), and comes with a Logitech G402 gaming mouse.

Prism+

The Prism+ X340 is a 34-inch curved gaming monitor with a 3,440 x 1,440-pixel resolution. It has a 100Hz refresh rate and the panel supports wide color gamut. The company (founded by Aftershock) is selling it here for $899 (U.P: $1,268).

There’s also an X315 that’s a 31.5-inch curved monitor with 144Hz refresh rate but with a full HD resolution. This is priced at a more wallet-friendly $450 (U.P: $668). If you intend to mount your display, you can look into purchasing one of the monitor arms that are on offer too.

Samsung

The Samsung C49HG90 is a giant 49-inch monitor with a 3,840 x 1,080-pixel resolution. It uses quantum dot technology for rich colors, has a refresh rate of 144Hz, and comes with a height-adjustable stand. You can pre-order it at Comex for $2,299 with free home delivery. You can also choose between 3 free gifts: a Secretlab Omega chair, a B&O Beoplay A2 Active speaker, or a 1TB Samsung T5 portable SSD.

The Samsung C24FG70 is a 23.5-inch 1080p curved gaming monitor that uses quantum dot technology for better colors. It’s a 1ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate, and supports AMD FreeSync. Going for $498 (U.P: $598).

ASUS

The ASUS Cerberus V2 is your entry-level gaming headset with large 53mm Aura Essence drivers, a stainless steel headband, and wrap-around ear cushions. It’s going at S$89 (U.P. S$129) over at the ASUS booth on Level 3.

If you’re looking to splurge a little more, there’s the ASUS Strix Wireless gaming headset with 2.4GHz wireless technology. It has a 900mAh battery that offers approximately 10 hours of nonstop use per full charge, which is excellent for gamer folks with good gaming stamina. It’s now S$179 (U.P. S$199) over at the ASUS booth on Level 3.

ASUS fans would be familiar with their gamer-specific sub-brand, ASUS ROG. Headphones are also a part of this, with the ROG Centurion gaming headset offers true 7.1 surround sound via its ten discrete drivers. It also has Aura Sync (ASUS’s proprietary smart RGB lighting) too. With great specs, comes great pricing – it’s now S$422 (U.P. S$469). Find it at the ASUS booth on Level 3.

Creative

The Creative Sound BlasterX Katana is again on offer at this PC Show 2017, and it's going for $399, down from the usual of $448. Simply ask any of the show staff to get the $50 "voucher" reduction. You’ll also get a free optical cable while stocks last. So all in, a pretty good deal for this 24-bit High Res Audio capable mini soundbar with a woofer.

Razer's BlackWidow Chroma V2 is a full-sized mechanical RGB keyboard with a durable steel frame. Roccat

The Roccat Tyon boasts an incredible 14 buttons, an ergonomic shape, and lightweight 126g build, making it ideal for MMO gamers. It uses a 200 - 8200 DPI Pro Aim (R3) laser sensor and 1000Hz polling rate. Pick one up from Comex for just S$69 (usual price: S$149).

Steelseries

The Steelseries Apex M650 is fitted with Steelseries' own QX2 Mechanical Gaming Switches, co-developed with Gateron. The switches have a substantially lower actuation point allowing for faster gameplay, and are available in Blue, Red, and Brown switches, all of which correspond to their Cherry MX equivalents. Get one from Comex for just S$169 (usual price: S$249).

The Rival 300 is one of Steelseries most popular mouse among pro-gamers thanks to its Pixart PMW 3310 sensor, which is essentially flawless without any acceleration, prediction or angle snapping and has a DPI range of 50 to 6,500. The mouse has a large ergonomic shape and a high profile. Pick it up at Comex for S$87.90 (usual price: S$109.90).

Secretlab

Secretlab is there at Comex, too. The Titan (center in image) has inbuilt fully adjustable lumbar support, and uses high-density cold cure foam, and Secretlab's top-grade Prime PU leather. Tech Dynamic

Tech Dynamic, a local company, is introducing new gaming chair brands such Tesoro and Noble Chairs.  The Noble Chair (rightmost chair above), with 4D armrests, safety class 4 gas lift, and in PU leather, is going for $429 and comes with free delivery. The Tesoro Zone Balance (first chair in image) costs $269 and features a 180° adjustable back, 5-star steel base, high-density foam filling, and comes with a 1 year local warranty. The chair in the center is the Epic Special Edition SK gaming chair, and it costs $459.

There's also another Tesoro Zone Evolution that features lock mechanisms on recline and tilt adjustments for safe positioning, and memory foam pillows to aid with pressure point relief. It costs $339. Tesoro chairs come with free delivery, and you can top up $30 for installation.
