Audio-Technica AT-SB727.

Vinyl is having a bit of a resurgence, and Audio-Technica capitalised on that by releasing a limited edition run of its iconic Sound Burger portable turntable. Thankfully, the company later released a non-limited edition version, the AT-SB727, with both wired and wireless capabilities, including a 3.5mm line out and Bluetooth support.

This portable turntable is available at a discounted price of S$218, down from the RRP of S$289. It comes with free gifts, including a bottle of AT607A stylus cleaning fluid and an AT6012 record care kit.

The Audio-Technica AT-SB727 can be found at the Challenger booth on Level 3, Booth 309.

Bose QuietComfort Headphones series

Bose QuietComfort Headphones in Black.

Bose QuietComfort Headphones in Black.

Bose refreshed their QuietComfort line of products in 2023, dropping the numbers from the name and introducing products like the QuietComfort Headphones, QuietComfort Ultra Headphones and QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. Bose products are very popular amongst travellers, because they’re comfortable and do well at blocking out unwanted noise.

Based on experience with the company’s products (including the Bose QuietComfort 45 Headphones that won Editor’s Choice previously), we’re going to say that the S$100 discount dropping the QuietComfort Headphones to S$399 is a good enough reason to check these out at IT Show 2024.

The Bose QuietComfort Headphones can be found at the Challenger Booth on Level 3, Booth 309.

While the Klipsch Nashville and Austin speakers aren’t technically a “deal” because there’s no discount, they are officially debuting in Singapore via IT Show 2024. This means visitors to the show will be some of the first in Singapore to be able to demo the speakers and get them on the spot.

Both speakers are portable, rugged speakers with an IP67 rating. The Klipsch Austin is the smallest, with a 1.5-inch driver and dual passive radiators. The Klipsch Nashville has dual 2.25-inch drivers and dual passive radiators, offering 360-degree sound.

Xinliang Woodpods II Pro

Xinliang Woodpods II Pro.

Xinliang Woodpods II Pro.

The Woodpods II Pro are an interesting offering from Chinese brand, Xinliang. With a single 6mm dynamic driver inside, these earbuds come with a wood faceplate, and the charging case is made of biodegradable plastic covered in wood.

This model supports wireless charging and has environmental noise cancellation, which worked quite well with the passive seal to block out external noise during a short demo. Unfortunately, the company only sells these earbuds through Alibaba. Still, they do have 10 units available for consumers to purchase at their booth at IT Show 2024, along with other TWS earbuds available to try.

With a S$20 price tag, it’s certainly not expensive and could make for an interesting, affordable gift.

The Woodpods II Pro can be found at Xinliang’s booth (Level 4, Booth 8343).
