Apple is likely to announce a new desert titanium option for the iPhone 16 Pro, but the rumour mill is unclear on how the colour will actually look.

A reliable source revealed to 9to5Mac a mock-up of the iPhone 16 Pro in desert titanium which looks different from recent leaks. It somehow reminds us of the iPhone XS in gold, though the desert titanium seems to take on a deeper tone.

9to5Mac believes this mock-up is "likey to be accurate" as the source provided an accurate render of the iPhone 15 Pro in natural gray titanium last year.

Aside from the tone of desert titanium in the mock-up, we also spotted a cut-out near the power button on the case. This is believed to be designed for the new capture button that is coming to the iPhone 16 lineup.

Apple is holding a launch event for the iPhone 16 on 9 September (10 September, 1am Singapore Time). In the meantime, check out what could be coming to the iPhone 16 lineup in our handy round-up.
