Apple just officially confirmed the launch event date for the iPhone 16 and it's happening in just two weeks.

The date you want to note is 9 September, and the all-important time is 10am. This is Pacific Time, which means it's happening in Singapore on 10 September at 1am. The event will be streamed on apple.com, on the Apple TV app and on YouTube.

Titled "It's Glowtime", we can expect to see the debut of the Apple iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10, and the Apple Watch Ultra 3.

The Apple iPhone 16 is likely to sport bigger screens for the Pro models, A18 chips across the entire lineup, a new Capture button, and new colour options. Check out our iPhone 16 rumour round-up article to find out more on what to expect.

The Apple Watch Series 10 is believed to come in new sizes and a thinner design, while there might not be significant updates coming to the Apple Watch Ultra 3.

Two highly anticipated health features for the smartwatches - blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection - might not make it this year.

There are also whispers that Apple might announce a new Apple Watch SE with a hard plastic case that's for children.
