The iPhone 16 Pro's new finish could be called "Desert Titanium"

Yesterday, we reported that the iPhone 16 Pro could come in a new rose gold finish. And today, we have word that Apple's official name for this new finish is Desert Titanium.
This is according to tipster @MajinBuOfficial, who describes this new finish as "kind of dark gold, similar to the old purple colour, relatively discreet and deep". Desert Titanium will reportedly replace the current Blue Titanium finish in the Pro lineup.
Based on leaked images of the iPhone 16 Pro's camera rings, @MajinBuOfficial also said that the iPhone 16 Pro will come in four finishes. The labels are slightly misleading because they simply say (from left to right): Titanium White, Titanium Black, Titanium Gold, and Titanium Grey.
Earlier leaks and reports suggested the new colour option could be rose gold, while @SonnyDickson's recent photo of the iPhone 16 Pro dummy units revealed the new rose gold finish for the first time. The reveal showed the rose gold finish to be darker than expected and appeared to look almost brown.
Besides the Desert Titanium option, Apple is rumoured to be considering a more polished finish for the iPhone 16 Pro which could put its look closer to the stainless steel frame of the iPhone 14 Pro and older models.
