Lenovo launches Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 notebooks powered by Qualcomm

With the inclusion of the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, the Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 notebooks are now Copilot+ ready.

A day after Dell and ASUS announced new notebooks powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, Lenovo is announcing the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor powered Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 notebooks.

Equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X Elite processor featuring the 12-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU, Adreno GPU, and a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, as its all-in-one system on a chip (SoC), and as such, the new notebooks are Copilot+ enabled.

Powering the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite processor, up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM, along with up to 1TB of storage. Weighing in at 1.28kg and 12.9mm “thick”, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x can go anywhere you need. Its 14.5-inch display has a 16:10 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and 1000 nits of brightness. The PureSight OLED touch panel has both 100% sRGB and P3 colour gamut support, as well as TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light support. The FHD MIPI IR Webcam can deliver clearer visuals on video calls and comes with four Voice ID microphones for clearer conversations. Audio for entertainment also sounds immersive with Lenovo Premium Suite’s four speaker sound system that comes with support for Dolby Atmos. In terms of connectivity options it comes with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, Lenovo claims up to multi-day battery life from the 70Wh battery.

“Built for business”, is how Lenovo describes the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6. With the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite processor, up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1TB of storage, Snapdragon X Elite Adreno GPU, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.3. there are three different display options from a 14-inch WUXGA option, up to a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with Dolby Vision and 400 nits of brightness. It also comes with an FHD+IR MIPI camera with two mics to pick up speech.

Pricing and availability

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is now available on the Lenovo official store and authorised resellers’ stores starting from 23 May 2024 onwards, at an expected starting price of S$2,099.
