iPhone X launch in Singapore sees insatiable demand
The Apple flagship outlet in Orchard Road restricts each buyer to two iPhone X units, and stock has ran out on Circles.Life.

With 3rd November 2017 being the official launch date of the iPhone X, official retailers around Singapore see massive queues and huge demand.
One day ahead of the iPhone X's launch saw "hundreds" of potential buyers camping outside the flagship Apple Store at Orchard Road. At its peak, the store saw a crowd of 800 - which is 200 more than iPhone 8 & 8 Plus's launch in September.

The first to enter the premises at 8 A.M. on launch day were two Thai students, Mr. Kittiwat Wang and Mr. Supakorn Rieksiri. Both are 22, and both had pre-ordered two iPhone X handsets before the sale.
The flagship Apple Store at Orchard Road limits two handsets to every buyer, in anticipation of the demand for the iPhone X. Case in point: other notable buyers at the store include Mr. Tram Quoc Dat, 25, from Vietnam. He came with ten friends, and each of them purchased two phones.
Circles.Life subscribers would also notice that the no-contract iPhone X units are now out of stock through their virtual telco. The page for ordering no-interest installments saw that the iPhone X (and the Samsung Galaxy S8+) are currently unavailable until further notice. Users can still request for a no-contract iPhone 8 & 8 Plus via Circles.Life.
The telco sets were also quite well-received, with Singtel having every single pre-order unit fully accounted for - more images and information will be coming from the red camp at a later time.
Over at StarHub's flagship store in Plaza Singapura, 40 customers were waiting in line, just before opening hours.
A queue of approximately 40 people for the iPhone X at StarHub's Plaza Singapura outlet. The shop doubles as a collection point.
"Pre-order customers have started collecting their phones across 36 StarHub retail outlets at their selected venue and time-slot. StarHub adopts this decentralized approach for customers to enjoy greater convenience and ease of collection. From tomorrow, customers may walk into any StarHub Shop or selected authorized dealers to buy the phone. We take this opportunity to share that initial stocks are limited, as demand during popular phone launches often outstrips supply," said a StarHub spokesperson.
We are still waiting on M1's response to their iPhone X collection process.
