Mophie joins Belkin in introducing new Qi2 charging devices at IFA 2023. The Mophie's Qi2 lineup includes two stands and two vent mounts.

  • The Snap+ Powerstation Mini Stand packs a 5,000mAh internal battery and an aluminium kickstand. The compact form factor makes it portable and easy to bring along for overseas trips. Priced at US$69.95 (~S$94.60), it will be available later this year on Mophie's website and select retail stores worldwide.

  • The Snap+ 3-in-1 Stand can charge any Qi2-compatible smartphone at 15W, the AirPods and fast charge the Apple Watch. Its simple design lets you charge three devices simultaneously without cluttering your desk with charging cables. The US$129.95 (~S$172.54) wireless charging stand will be available in Q1 2024.

  • The Snap+ Wireless Charging vent offers up to 15W of power to Qi2-compatible device while ensuring it is secured and easily accessible in your car for US$69.95 (~S$94.60). For users who want a simpler but effective mount solution, there is the US$29.95 (~S$40.50) snap vent mount that has a ratcheting hook mechanism to keep the phone in sight for navigation prompts. Both devices will be available for order later this year on Mophie's website and select retail stores worldwide.

The new Qi2 standard is built on Apple's MagSafe technology and aims to be the wireless charging global standard of choice. It ensures phones and other rechargeable battery-powered devices are perfectly aligned with charging devices, thus delivering better energy efficiency and faster charging.

In addition, Qi2 allows third-party accessory makers to develop more affordable wireless charging solutions as there is no longer a need to license technology from Apple.

With the Apple iPhone 15 supporting the Qi2 wireless charging standard, these Qi2 charging devices should be at the top of your accessory shopping list. Don't forget that even iPhone 13 and 14 are Qi2 wireless charging compatible.
