Samsung wants the Galaxy S8 to go beast mode when you need it

Samsung has submitted a trademark application in the U.S and E.U for a performance enhancing program. Could this be for the upcoming Galaxy S8?

Samsung's smartphones today come with different modes such as power saving and ultra power saving. Come next April, the South Korean company may introduce a beast mode for the Galaxy S8. 

Discovered by GalaxyClub.nl, Samsung has filed trademark applications for the beast mode in the E.U and the U.S. Upon further investigation, the document describes the mode as a speed and performance enhancing program for smartphones.  

Is the beast mode specifically catered for virtual reality, the rumored secret weapon of the Galaxy S8?
