While South Korea's Electronic Times claimed that Samsung is planning to launch two Galaxy S7 models in February 2016, GSMArena believes there is a third variant.

Based on information provided by its sources at third party case maker ITSKINS, GSMArena reports that Samsung is releasing three Galaxy S7 models with different screen sizes. The first model, the Galaxy S7 will sport a 5.1-inch display while the second model, the Galaxy S7 edge comes with a 5.5-inch curved display. The third model, the Galaxy S7 edge+, will be equipped with a 6-inch curved display.

Looking back at the Galaxy S6 family (S6, S6 edge and S6 edge+), it does make some sense for Samsung to release all three Galaxy S7 models at the same time. The latest report from GSMArena corroborates with GizmoChina, which claimed a week ago that there will indeed be three models

Samsung is rumored to be holding a launch event on 21st February before Mobile World Congress 2016 for the Galaxy S7. The new smartphone is said to have a pressure-sensitive display, a retina scanner and an Exynos 8 Octa processor.
