Samsung's Exynos 8 Octa chipset reportedly blew the competition away on AnTuTu

A leaked AnTuTu benchmark score from China reveals that the Samsung Exynos 8 Octa 8890 chipset is going to be the most powerful mobile processor when it arrives in the first half of 2016.

We already know how powerful the current generation of Samsung Exynos processors are and if the latest leaked benchmark score is any indication, the upcoming Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor will be the most powerful mobile processor yet.

According to GSMArena, a source in China leaked the AnTuTu score of the Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor which registered a whopping 103,692 on the benchmark! For reference's sake, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 powered by the Exynos 7420 chipset scored 72,156 on the AnTuTu benchmark while the Galaxy S6 with the same processor scored 68,946. 

Samsung recently revealed details about the Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor, which is expected to be used in the upcoming Galaxy S7 models. The Galaxy S7 models are rumored to be launched on 21st February and one of them is alleged to have a display that curves on the top and bottom.
