Mark Gurman, who is formerly from 9to5Mac and has a solid track record on Apple leaks, has shared new information on how the dual-camera module of the upcoming 5.5-inch iPhone will work.

The dual-camera module of the 5.5-inch iPhone will reportedly take brighter photos with more detail. The two camera sensors are able to capture colors differently at the same time and merge it into a single photo. This also allows the user to zoom while maintaining clarity in the images. In addition, the dual-camera module is able to sharpen photos taken in low-light conditions.

The home button is also set for a major revamp; it will be pressure-sensitive and gives a vibrating haptic feedback to the user. The mechanism is said to work in a similar fashion as the trackpads on the latest MacBook laptop.

Mark also reaffirms some of the earlier rumors about the new iPhones which include the elimination of the 3.5mm headphone jack, the addition of a second speaker, a similar design as the current iPhone 6s, and the adoption of a new, three-year refresh cycle for the iPhones
