So far we have only gotten a glimpse of the next-gen iPhone in bits and pieces, ranging from close-up shots of its 19-pin mini connector, aluminium/glass back panels to a longer chassis for a bigger 4.0-inch screen. The best photo we had of a possibly fully-assembled device wasn't sharp enough to discern much either, so this fresh batch of images that have emerged on the Internet is a welcome addition. As GSMArena puts it, we have finally caught a glimpse of the next-gen device "in its full splendor". These photos matched previous rumors about the new iPhone, including the smaller dock connector and the relocated 3.5 audio jack.

These photos seem to strengthen the allegations that next-gen iPhone has already gone into production in China. Its "official unveiling" on August 7th seems to be quite a stretch, but we are hoping to see a September/October launch for this device, alongside rumored gadgets like the 7+-inch iPad Mini and the supposedly revamped iPod Touch. For those looking to get their paws on the iOS 6-ready smartphone, let's hope Apple will adhere to the timeline.
