More Photos of the Alleged Next-Gen iPhone 5 Leaked; Official Release Date August 7th?

More photos of the next-gen iPhone has been leaked and this time, we get to have a clearer view of its front glass panel, KitGuru and Pocket-lint reports. Adding on to that, the device is slated for an August 7th official release.

It is not surprising to see more iPhone 5 rumors on the web during this period of time - we have had a couple in the last two months that seemed legit, including photos and videos showcasing a longer back panel/4-inch screen and . This time, KitGuru (page has since been removed) claims that they have gotten hold on photos taken of a “test sample” of the upcoming iPhone, once again confirming the elongated, widescreen design and smaller connector. Other features that correspond with what we have seen thus far includes the bottom headphone jack and new speaker grille.

While previous rumors point to a September release, Know Your Mobile (via PocketNow) has gotten information via an anonymous but reliable source that the exact iPhone 5 announcement would be held at an August 7th keynote. We have less than one month to go before the truth comes to light.
