LG rumored to launch the V30 phone at IFA 2017
LG is said to be unveiling the V30 smartphone at IFA 2017 in Berlin.
Similar to Samsung, LG is said to be launching its next flagship smartphone earlier than expected.
Korean publication ETNews claims that LG will be unveiling the V30 smartphone one day before IFA 2017 starts in Berlin on 31st August. Pre-orders for the V30 will start soon after the official announcement in South Korea and the phone will go on sale in September for about 800,000 KRW (~S$973). The V30 is likely to be rolled out to other markets a month later.
ETNews' report is in line with what Korean publication Aju Business Daily stated last week. Samsung is also rumored to be launching the Galaxy Note 8 on 26 August in New York to avoid sharing the limelight with Apple's iPhone event in September.
