Latest EMUI 9.1 update adds a Night Mode to the Huawei P30’s selfie camera
Other than a Night Mode for the front-facing camera, the new EMUI 9.1 update also adds the August 2019 security patch.
Huawei’s P30 Pro may have just lost out to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10+ in the DxOMark rankings, but that isn’t going to stop the Chinese company from releasing updates to bridge the gap.
According to Huawei Central, Huawei has started to roll out a new software update (EMUI 9.1.0.193 in China) that brings a new Night Mode to both the P30 Pro and P30 phones.
In addition to letting users capture brighter selfies under low light, the EMUI update also includes a new video editing function and tweaks to improve fingerprint recognition.
Android’s August 2019 security patch is also said to be part of this update.
