With MWC 2017 coming around the corner, Huawei felt the urge to tease its fans with a new trailer. We’ve included the video below:

The trailer hints the coming of its flagship Huawei P10 smartphone, along with its possible features. Its peek-a-boo eyes can be construed as the return of its Leica dual-rear camera lenses, where its imaging performance was impressive for a smartphone. The video dated its Huawei P10 announcement on 26th February 2017 at Barcelona, Spain, hinting that the announcement will be made at Mobile World Congress 2017.
Expectations are high for the Huawei P10, since its preceding model was well-received. While its specifications aren’t fully revealed, a leaked advertisement banner for the P10 and P10 Plus has made it rounds on Weibo before news sites like GSMArena caught on. The banner implied that the P10 will have 4GB RAM in their 32GB and 64GB variants, while its 128GB variant packs 6GB RAM. Its brethren, the P10 Plus, will have two versions – a 64GB phone with 4GB RAM, and a 129GB handset with 6GB RAM.

According to the same leak, the phones are expected to retail between CNY 3,488 (~S$721) to CNY 5,688 (~S$1,176) – that’s before factoring in our quintessential price mark-up for imported goods. The P10 and P10 Plus are due to hit retail come March-April 2017, should Huawei’s plans still stick to its schedule.
