Google may bring MagSafe-like charging and accessories for the upcoming Pixel 10 series handsets.
Android Authority verified the "credible marketing materials" related to the magnetic Qi2 accessories and referenced them against product listings in a distributor's database.
According to the materials, Google's take on MagSafe is reportedly called "Pixelsnap," and there are at least three accessories (Pixelsnap Charger, Pixelsnap Charger with Stand, and Pixelsnap Ring Stand) in development.
Meanwhile, the trade database lists new Google wireless chargers with Qi 2.2 and Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) support.
The included stands also fuel another rumoured Pixel feature called Hub Mode. It's said to work similarly to Apple's Standby Mode, where the Pixel's Always On Display acts as a smart clock when turned sideways.
If true, Google will become the second Android phone maker to support the Qi2 wireless charging standard. Google previously defended its choice to exclude Qi2 from its Pixel phones, having once said it saw "no tangible benefits" in adopting the wireless charging standard.
Google is reportedly set to launch the Pixel 10 series on 20 August, with retail availability following on 28 August 2025. The base Pixel 10 model might include a telephoto camera, and Google may ditch the Obsidian and Porcelain colours that was a mainstay on Pixel devices.
