Galaxy S9 to have the same display size as the Galaxy S8?
Samsung is rumored to be using the same display size and shape of the Galaxy S8 for the Galaxy S9 next year.
Samsung might not be bumping up the screen size for the Galaxy S9 next year.
Anonymous sources told The Bell that Samsung Display has received display specifications of the Galaxy S9 which state that it would have the same size and shape as the Galaxy S8. As a quick recap, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ have screen sizes of 5.8-inches and 6.2-inches respectively.
The Bell also added that Samsung would try again to integrate a fingerprint scanner in the display of the Galaxy S9 after technical issues and time constraints hindered the company from implementing it on the Galaxy S8 and the upcoming Galaxy Note8. In addition, The Bell shared that the Galaxy Note9 would have the same display size (6.32-inches) as the Galaxy Note8.
