This could be the Samsung Galaxy S8

VentureBeat has obtained what it claims to be the first live photo of the Samsung Galaxy S8 devices. Courtesy of well-known tipster @evleaks, VentureBeat confirms some of the rumored specs which include:

• 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Quad-HD Super AMOLED displays with pressure-sensitive technology on the lower half of the screen 
• No flat-screen model as both displays are curved 
• No home button
• Fingerprint sensor moved to the rear beside the camera 
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Samsung Exynos chipsets
• Android 7.0 Nougat 
• 4GB RAM 
• 12-megapixel rear f/1.7 camera with 8-megapixel front-facing f/1.7 camera 
• Rear camera to sport visual search functionality
• Samsung's artificial intelligence assistant Bixby 
• Internal storage options start from 64GB 
• MicroSD support up to 256GB
• USB Type-C port
• 3.5mm headphone jack
• 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh battery 

Samsung is also said to be holding its first Unpacked event for the year in New York on 29 March to launch the Galaxy S8. The retail prices are also going to be increased with the 5.8-inch model costing €799 (~S$1,216) and the bigger model priced at €899 (~S$1,368). In comparison, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge launched with retail prices of S$998 and S$1,098 respectively. Both phones are expected to hit retail shelves on 21 April.
