We all know Apple Intelligence will be available later this month when Apple releases software updates to iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. The problem, however, is we don’t know when exactly.
Happily, famous Apple analyst Mark Gurman has the answer. According to him, Apple plans to release Apple Intelligence on 28 October. Mark that date in your calendars.
The reason why it’s taking this long is allegedly because Apple wants to take its time and ensure a smooth rollout. It wants to eradicate major bugs, iron out kinks in the software, and ensure its AI cloud servers can support all the traffic.
And to reiterate, not all Apple Intelligence features will be available at launch. The initial launch will include features like Writing Tools, image clean up, summaries in Mail and Messages, and a few more. Features like Image Playground, Genmoji, and onscreen awareness will come later.
And in case you are confused about when Apple Intelligence is coming to Singapore, or wondering how we can access it when it’s available, check out my handy guide here.
Apple Intelligence will be supported by the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, the iPhone 16 and Plus, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, and all iPads and Macs with an M1 or better chip.
