Yesterday, it was reported that Apple would make Apple Intelligence available for developers to try sometime this week with the first developer betas of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1. Well, that time is now.

Apple has just released the developer betas for the abovementioned software, giving developers and anyone else who has access to these developer betas, a first taste of Apple Intelligence.

As expected, not all of the Apple Intelligence features that were shown off at WWDC 2024 will be available.

MacRumors has a handy list of what we can expect and they include Writing Tools, Smart Reply in Mail and Messages, transcription in Notes and other apps, and more. They also have a list of the features that are missing.

To install these updates, you’ll need a developer account and a device that supports Apple Intelligence. This means an iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max, or an iPad or Mac with Apple Silicon. After installing, you’ll need to join a waitlist and wait for a notification to tell you when Apple Intelligence is ready for your device.
