Samsung's new Galaxy Note7. Samsung went straight from 5 to 7 to reduce confusion between the Note and S series. Now all 7 series models will share most of the same features: IP68 dust and water resistance, quick charging battery, expandable storage, 12-megapixel, f/1.7 rear camera and a 5-megapixel, f/1.7 front camera.
Note: This gallery was first published on 2nd August 2016.
The Note7 will be available in four colors: Onyx Black, Titanium Silver, Gold Platinum, and Coral Blue. Unfortunately, Coral Blue will not be available at launch in Singapore.
Here you can see the Note7 sitting on top of last year's Note 5. The Note7 has the same size display as the Note 5 (5.7-inches) but is 2.7mm narrower thanks to its dual curved edge display.
The Note7 has an elegant symmetrical design, with both the front and rear sporting curved glass.
The new S Pen on the Note7 is a tiny bit shorter than the Note 5's S Pen. The button has also been repositioned slightly higher up, to reduce the chance of accidentally pressing it.
The new S Pen also has a much thinner tip than previous versions. The new tip is much closer in feel to a ballpoint pen.
Here's a look at how the S Pen has evolved over the years (from left): Note, Note 2, Note 3, Note 4, Note Edge, Note 5, Note7.
And here's how the devices have changed (from bottom): Note, Note 2, Note 3, Note 4, Note Edge, Note 5, Note7.
