Will only one make the cut?

Besides a rumoured OLED display that uses less power, a super-slim variant that’s up to 6.25mm thin, and a possible zero-port design, this iPhone 17 rumour seems more plausible than others.

According to tech preview site MajinBu Official, the upcoming iPhone 17 is undergoing colour tests from Apple. Two new colours for the phone, Green and Purple, are undergoing selection trials, with one colour choice likely being finalised.

Would having a new colour help? After all, the rumours also suggested that the iPhone 17 base model might not feature a new processor, instead relying on the same A18 chipset as in its iPhone 16 devices.

The Pro model’s aren’t neglected either, with Apple exploring a Sky Blue colourway for this variant.

Apple is expected to reveal this year’s iPhones in September.
