Ahead of Apple’s upcoming September 9 event, iPhone 17 cases have been leaked online.

Purported Apple Clear Cases

Tipster MajinBu Official has shared several photos that appear to show Apple’s Clear Case for the iPhone 17 Pro, revealing two notable design changes:

  • It is no longer fully transparent – a rectangular area with rounded corners and the Apple logo replaces the familiar MagSafe circle.
  • The camera cutout is much larger, stretching across the entire width of the phone.

The tipster also noted that Apple had explored alternative designs, including tinted versions that could launch as “limited seasonal editions” in the future.

Third-party cases are corroborating these leaks. UAG’s cases for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air align with earlier reports: the iPhone 17 retains the rear camera design of the iPhone 16, while the iPhone 17 Air features a horizontal camera bar across its top section.

Similarly, ESR has already listed five iPhone 17 Pro cases on its website. These cases have a built-in Camera Control cover, and in some models, a modified MagSafe circle that’s incomplete due to the repositioned Apple logo.

Apple will officially unveil the iPhone 17 series at its live event on 10 September at 1 am SGT, streamed on its website, YouTube channel and the Apple TV app.
