Latest iPhone 17 Pro renders reveal tweaks to position of Apple logo and MagSafe

Subtle design changes, but huge scramble for accessory makers?

New Apple iPhone 17 Pro renders reveal two upcoming design changes.

Aside from the new camera bar design that stretches across the entire top section, Apple appears to have repositioned its logo slightly lower on the back. While the new placement isn’t centred vertically on the full height of the phone, it is centred relative to the glass panel it sits on.

The second change involves the MagSafe magnet array. To avoid obscuring the repositioned Apple logo, the circular magnet ring has been modified to have a break.

While these changes look subtle, third-party accessory makers are probably scrambling to update their case designs for the iPhone 17 Pro, particularly for those who have transparent or translucent design since the new position of the logo could throw off the entire case design.

In other news, Apple is also tipped to offer the iPhone 17 Pro in a new Sky Blue colourway, which will likely replace Desert Titanium in the lineup.
