Canon releases a trio of new cameras – the EOS M6, EOS 800D, and EOS 77D
Canon has just announced the launch of three new interchangeable lens cameras, with all three set to slot in to their existing line-up as intermediate cameras.
You’ve probably seen our pictures of the new mirrorless EOS M6, as well as the EOS 800D and EOS 77D, and are wondering what the new technical specifications are. Well, here they are:
The EOS M6 will be available in a choice of black graphite or vintage silver and black.
The EOS M6 is a mirrorless camera that weighs only 390g and measures 112.0 x 68.0 x 44.5mm. Dual Pixel AF is used for faster autofocusing, and Canon says AF is possible on an area that’s approximately 80%x80% of the entire focal plane.

The EOS 800D brings mid level features to a beginners.
The EOS 800D on the other hand, is a more traditional DSLR. It too has a 24.2MP CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF, and Canon’s latest DIGIC 7 image processor. The basic technical specifications for this are as follows:

The EOS 77D offers serious enthusiasts yet another APS-C option.
Finally, we have the EOS 77D. This DSLR sits between the EOS 80D and EOS 70D and again offers Dual Pixel AF on its 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor. DIGIC 7 is used too, and the EOS 77D stands out from the previous two cameras by having a top LCD display panel.

Control your camera from 5m away through this handy remote.
Also announced, is the new optional BR-E1 Bluetooth remote control, which allows you to easily trigger the shutter and switch between stills and video mode from within a radius of five meters from the camera.
