First images of Canon's latest mirrorless camera - The EOS M6
We take a quick look at the new Canon EOS M6.
The EOS M6 (pictured with optional EVF) shares the same 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7 processor as the EOS M5. It measures approximately 112.0 x 68.0 x 44.5mm and weighs just 29g.
As well as a tilting rear 3.0” LCD that supports touch. Also, there's no EVF built in this time, so you'll need to get an additional hotshoe EVF.
The good thing about not having a viewfinder is that it makes for easier selfies as the rear LCD can flip up and not be obstructed.
The EOS M6 even comes with a built-in pop-up flash for times when even the highest setting of ISO 25,600 isn't enough to get you a fast enough shutter speed to hand hold comfortably.
No official pricing or availability information yet, but we're told it should be coming in late April, with black and silver as your color options. Watch this space for further updates!
