The new OPPO Enco X3i has just been announced, and based on our previous experience with the OPPO Enco4 Pro and Enco Air3s, we're certainly excited. With an integrated coaxial design, the Enco X3i uses dual dynamic drivers with a 10.4mm woofer and 6mm tweeter to achieve a frequency response range of 15Hz to 40kHz.
Adding on to that, the earbuds support the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, which is able to stream hi-res audio wirelessly for better sound quality. There's also Golden Sound 2.0, a feature which has been upgraded and is able to generate personalised audio profiles and adjust the audio output after an audio test, so that users can enjoy sound that is tailored for them.

For an immersive experience, the Enco X3i comes with OPPO Alive Audio, which uses the company's proprietary algorithms and head-related transfer function to simulate 3D spatial audio. The earbuds also have active noise cancellation, as we would expect from most earbuds in 2025, with three built-in microphones helping to detect ambient noise and pick the most suitable noise-cancelling mode based on the surroundings.

Running on Bluetooth 5.3, the earbuds also have Dual Connection, or multipoint connectivity as it's more commonly known. On a full charge, the earbuds offer up to 10 hours of playback with ANC disabled. With the charging case, the total playback time is 44 hours.
Coming in Electric Blue and Meteor Grey colourways, the earbuds weigh just 4.8 grams each. OPPO states the design was based on thousands of ear scans for a snug, pressure-free fit.
All in all, on paper at least, OPPO's new Enco X3i looks like a very attractive option for readers looking for a set of full-featured earbuds that are priced reasonably. That said, the Enco X3i will face stiff competition from the likes of Creative with their Aurvana Ace 2 and newer Aurvana Ace Mimi, and other earbuds like Nothing's Ear (a).
