It relies on an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M for graphics processing and even features a built-in Blu-ray disc writer. It is going for $2,898 now, down from $3,098 usually. The Acer G277HL is a 27-inch full HD monitor using IPS panel, and it's going for just $349 at the show, down from its $599 list price. Comes with free DVI, HDMI and analog cables.

The Acer X34 is a giant 34-inch QHD curved monitor that supports NVIDIA G-Sync. It supports HDMI, DisplayPort, and has a built-in 4-port USB 3.0 hub. Going for $1,499 at the show (down from $1,699), but you can knock a further $100 off if you buy an Acer gaming desktop.

Apple's latest iPad takes all of the features of the 12-inch iPad Pro and puts them into a more standard 9.7-inch form factor. The iPad Pro 9.7 is also equipped with the same rear camera you'll find in the iPhone 6s, complete with a true tone dual-LED flash module! Another fast router that ASUS is offering at CEE 2016 is the RT-AC88U. It’s a dual-band router that offers a combined throughput of 3100Mbps and also supports the latest MU-MIMO technology. It also has a whopping 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports. It is priced at $409 (U.P. $429) and comes with a free gaming mouse. It also comes with lifetime access to the WTFast GPN accelerator service.

The ASUS RP-AC68U is one of the few AC1900 wireless repeaters available. It also features 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and a USB 3.0 port to connect to additional devices. It is priced at $239 (U.P. $259).

Audio Technica was on the showfloors again, and this time round one of their star buys was the ATH-ANC9. These stylish headphones offer great noise-canceling capabilities and are selling for $248, down from the usual price of $308. Even better, every purchase at the show gets you a free pair of in-ear headphones worth $168!

Those looking for a more casual version can look at the ATH-UN1. These are going for a show price of $48, down from the usual price of $78, and you’ll get a limited edition drawstring pouch worth $8 to hold them in.

For professional quality headphones, the ATH-M50x Limited Edition is also on discount at the show, and that’s going for $228, down from the usual price of $248. You’ll get a free headphone pouch worth $48 thrown in.

Bose is also at the show, and they’ve got the SoundTouch 10 on offer. This is going for just $299, down from the retail price of $399. That’s a pretty good price for this portable speaker that uses a Unidome transducer for sound that belies the speaker’s tiny size.

Otherwise, check out a pair of QuietComfort 25s. These are going for $459, down from the usual price of $529, which is about as good a discount as you will get for a pair of headphones that boast the best in noise-cancelling technology.

Consider Brother’s HL-L2365W monochrome laster printer if you’re looking for something around S$178 (U.P. S$208). The little guy prints up to 30ppm, has a 250-sheet tray, 3+2 years limited (parts-only) carry-in warranty. Comes with a free S$30 shopping voucher if you buy at CEE 2016.

If you’re looking for something more capable, you can save S$200 off Brother’s MFC-9330CDW color LED multi-function centre, at S$498 (U.P. S$698). The D-Link DIR-895L is the latest AC5300-class router to hit the stands. It supports MU-MIMO technology and offers a total data transfer rate of 5300Mbps on its three networks. It is going for $399 (U.P. $459).

The D-Link DIR-885L is AC3150 router that supports up to 1000Mbps on its 2.4GHz band and 2167Mbps on its 5GHz band. It also features the latest MU-MIMO technology for more efficient transmission with compatible MU-MIMO devices. It is going for $299 (U.P. $379).

Dell's ever popular XPS 13 ultrabook features an Intel Core i5-6200U processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD. The 13.3-inch edge-to-edge display has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, and this can be upgraded to a higher resolution 4K touchscreen display if you so wish. The non-touchscreen model is going for $1,699 (U.P. $1,899), with a 1-year ProSupport warranty and a 1-year subscription to McAfee LiveSafe. You'll also get a free wireless mouse and leather sleeve case while stocks last.

The Dell Alienware 13 is a compact 13.3-inch gaming notebook that is equipped with an Intel Core i7-6500U processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. Need a tablet cradle for your car or bed frame? There’s the Digidock CR-3902SU Suction Mount Universal Tablet Holder. The Epson M100 is a monochrome, single function, ink tank system printer going at S$198 (U.P. S$218). Here’s an inexpensive way to dip your toes into the fitness tracking world. The Fitbit Flex is available for nearly half off at S$78 (U.P. S$148), but the offer is limited to only 10 units a day.

Otherwise, for a pocketable option, check out the JBL Micro Wireless speaker. This is going for $39, down from the usual price of $109! That’s almost 65% off! Pretty good for a speaker that boasts five hours of battery life and delivers full-range sound.

For quality in-ears, check out the Klispch booth. They’ve got the new R6 BT as one of their star buys, and this is going for $263, down from the usual price of $299. Buy two or more pairs though, and the price drops down to $254 per pair, that’s pretty good for the se headphones that support both aptX and AAC.

For a wired option, check out the X12i, these are said to be the world’s smallest and lightest in-ears, and are going for $539, down from the usual price of $599. As above, get two or more pairs and the price comes down to $509 per pair.

Portable external hard disk drives don't get any more sexy than LaCie's new Porsche Design Slim Drives and Mobile Drives. Prices begin at $119 for a 500GB drive and top out at $195 for a 2TB drive.

For desktop users, there's the LaCie d2 Thunderbolt 2 and the RAID-capable 2big Thunderbolt 2. Prices begin at $499 for a 3TB d2 Thunderbolt 2 and top out at $929 for a 6TB 2big Thunderbolt 2.

For a solid pair of speakers, check out the Marshall Stanmore. These are Bluetooth speakers with a gorgeous retro look that have Bluetooth connectivity, optical inputs for connection to a digital TV, your usual 3.5mm audio inputs, and even RCA inputs so you can even plug in your vinyl player (or other analogue source). The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is the successor to the hugely popular Surface Pro 3, and it comes equipped with all the latest hardware as expected. The Razer Black Widow Ultimate 2014 mechanical keyboard uses Razer’s proprietary mechanical switches, and they come with individually backlit keys. You can pick one up for just S$159 (U.P. S$209) and they can be found at Booth 8610.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is one of the best Android tablets you can buy right now thanks to its QHD Super AMOLED display. The Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim is the world's thinnest 2TB portable external HDD. It measures just 9.6mm thick and features an attractive metallic chassis. The 2TB model is $149 (U.P. $169) while the smaller 1TB model is $99 (U.P. $119).

Secretlab chairs are becoming a mainstay at such electronic fairs. The Secretlab Omega is going for just S$549 (U.P. S$629) while the Secretlab Throne V2 is retailing at S$479 (U.P. S$529). SkullCandy is also at the show, and the SkullCandy Navigator are going for just $59.90, down from the list price of $167.90! That’s about $110 off, and is a pretty decent price for these stylish on-ear headphones.

Sonos has long been known for their multi-room speakers, and they’ve got them on discount at this show too. The Sonos Play:5 is going for $949, down $50 from the original price of $999. Pick up either a Play:3, Play:1 or another Play:5 though (all of which are discounted), and you’ll get an additional $50 off your purchase.

You can grab the PlayStation 4 Uncharted 4 Limited Edition console at CEE 2016. Gamers might want to note that the SteelSeries Siberia V2 Heat Orange (left) is going on special offer at the show. This is being sold at $89.90, down from the list price of $229.90. Certainly something worth checking out as the USB headset that feature 50mm driver units and come with an active noise-cancelling microphone.

If you fancy having a SteelSeries Apex M260 mechanical keyboard, there’s a bunch available at the gaming zone. The new Synology RT1900ac router is one of the most affordable AC1900-class routers at the IT Show. It is priced at $236.

For hardcore users with lots of storage requirements, consider the Synology DS916+. It's a 4-bay NAS powered by a quad-core Intel Pentium N3710 processor and even allows users to transcode and stream H.264 4K/1080p videos to various devices. The NAS alone is going for $869 (U.P. $939) and this is the more powerful variant with 8GB of memory. With a bundled 8TB of storage, the price is $1299 (U.P. $1389).

The Targus 15” Groove X Compact Backpack is designed to carry a MacBook or MacBook Pro laptops. It features a padded cradle for your machine and a dedicated iPad pocket with anti-scratching lining, on top of many pockets. Get it for just S$62.30 (U.P. S$89) at Booth 8120.

The Coop Idea Crate is a travel adapter with two USB ports, making it great for traveling couples or business travelers with multiple mobile devices on the move. The adapter feels fuss-free as it is a single unit with toggled prongs for different power outlets. U.P. is S$59, but the CEE 2016 price is 30% off, bringing it down to $41.30. Booth 8120.

If you need some cheap flash drives, Toshiba has 8GB flash drives going for just $3.80 (U.P. $6.90).

The Archer C3200 from TP-Link is one of the most affordable tri-band AC3200 class routers you can find. It is priced at just $269.

The TP-Link Touch P5 is a cool-looking AC1900-class router that has a touchscreen display for easy setup and configuration. It is available at IT Show for $239.

For users who demand the best, the Archer C3150 is a dual-band router that supports up to 1000Mbps on its 2.4GHz band and 2167Mbps on its 5GHz band. It also supports the latest MU-MIMO technology for more efficient transmission of data if paired with compatible MU-MIMO clients.

As we mentioned in our preshow coverage article, the UE MegaBoom is on offer. This is IPX7-certified so you’ll have no worries using it in the rain or out by the pool, and has a 20-hour battery life and the ability to be daisy-chained with other UE Booms to double or triple the sound at your party. This is going for $329 at the show, down from the list price of $399.

The UE Roll is also a worthy option, and this brightly colored speaker is going for just $109, a savings of some $40 from the usual price of $149. This gives you nine hours of battery life, allowing you to bring 360-degree sound around.

You can consider the Urban Armor Gear Composite case if you like your iPhone 6 or 6s to come with a rugged appearance. The shell armors the phone while the innards is an impact resistant soft core. It also meets MIL STD 810G military drop-test standards too. 30% off brings its price down to S$34.30 (U.P. S$49).

This ViewSonic VX2573-shw is a 25-inch full HD monitor with built-in speakers and supports HDMI/MHL. It's going for just $319. If you don't need the speakers and can get by with DVI (in place of HDMI), the similar-looking VX2573-sg can be had for $299.

The 3TB WD My Passport Ultra was the winner of our Tech Awards 2016 Best Portable External HDD Award and it is available at CEE 2016 for $179 (U.P. $299). Every purchase will come with a free carrying case and Panasonic headphones.

If you are looking to start your own cloud storage, WD's My Cloud personal cloud storage systems are perfect for that. The single bay My Cloud starts at $199 (U.P. $239) for a 2TB model; while the double-bay My Cloud Mirror, which supports RAID, starts at $399 (U.P. $499) for the 4TB model.

For desktop users who don't care for cloud storage, there's the My Book and My Book Duo. The difference between the two is that the My Book Duo supports RAID, which allows users to easily backup contents on their drive. Prices start at $169 (U.P. $229) for the 3TB My Book drive, and $369 (U.P. $469) for the 4TB My Book Duo.

The Withings activity tracker/watches definitely fall more on the side of beautiful watch than fanciful gadget. The Activite Steel has a battery life of up to eight months, works with both iOS and Android. S$279 (U.P. S$299) at CEE 2016.

If you don't mind paying a bit more, opt for the newer Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, which boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD resolution screen, 2GB RAM, an octa-core Mediatek processor and a 13-megapixel camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus. Pick one up at CEE for just S$228.

The ZTE Blade V5 Lux is a 5-inch dual-SIM smartphone with a 1280x720 resolution IPS display. It is powered by Qualcomm's 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. Camera-wise, it sports a Sony 13MP BSI rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. Pick one up at CEE for just S$108 (usual price: S$188).
