Samsung is said to be getting ambitious with the shipment target for the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 foldable phones.
Korea IT News claims Samsung aims to ship 15 million units of the new Galaxy Z foldable phones. The shipment ratio of the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 is estimated to be about 2 to 1.
Samsung shared in December last year that it shipped 4x more foldable phones in 2021 than in 2020 with the Galaxy Z Flip3 attracting 150% more switchers than the Galaxy Note20.
The Korean news site also shared some purported specs of the upcoming foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Fold4 is rumoured to have a 50MP main camera. The Galaxy Z Flip4's internal screen and external screen are said to be 6.7-inches and 1.9-inches respectively, while the Galaxy Z Fold4 has a 7.56-inch main screen and a 6.19-inch screen on the front. The crease is also believed to be less noticeable.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 in the second week of August with retail availability slated for end of the month.
