ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080, Core Ultra 9 processor and mobos up for grabs in ASUS's new giveaway contest

ASUS has announced a new giveaway contest running from now until 17 April, and big prizes are up for grabs. How much? About US$13,000 worth of hardware making up the total prize pool. 

Titled 'Make Your Dream PC a Reality!', the contest is free to enter and is open globally. However, it requires participants to complete a series of tasks on the giveaway and sweepstakes platform Gleam. The full list of tasks is up on this Gleam post, and it's also where you complete those tasks, like answering questions and submitting screenshots.

But in short, this is what you need to do to enter:

• Subscribe to ASUS and ROG social media channels (this includes their Facebook, Instagram and X pages),
• Interact with #AsusDreamBuild content by liking and sharing on those platforms and tagging a friend with the same hashtag,
• Read articles about the ASUS 800 motherboard, visit the GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards landing page and answer a series of questions on the Gleam post,
• Extra points for answering the [Content Creator] question if you own an ASUS AIO Cooler with an LCD screen and have a custom design on it to share,
• Bonus points for signing up for an ASUS membership.

This is just for the general 'Prizes' category. ASUS is also running a separate category for those who already own an ASUS Z890, B860, X870E/X870, B850 or B840 board, called 'ASUS Special Prizes'. The entry for this category is slightly simpler; the list of tasks can be found on this Gleam post here (it's also where you submit the required screenshots). These are the requirements summarised:

• Subscribe to ASUS and ROG social media channels (this includes their Facebook, Instagram and X pages),
• Interact with #AsusDreamBuild content by liking and sharing on those platforms and tagging a friend with the same hashtag,
• Check out the ASUS AI Advisor article,
• Upload a screenshot of your interaction with ASUS AI Advisor and state what features you want to see on AI Advisor,
• And post a photo / story of your PC build on Instagram (must have an ASUS motherboard with an ASUS AIO Cooler or graphics card), tag @ASUS or @ASUSROG with #AsusDreamBuild, and upload it to Gleam.

The prizes in the general category range from high-end ASUS motherboards to CPUs and graphics cards, along with accessories and input devices. The list of prizes are in the Gleam post above, but some of the more salient ones include a Z890 Premium Box (which includes an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and Maximus Z890 Hero board), an ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 and ASUS Prime GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, and an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X + TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi motherboard.

There's only one of each of the prizes mentioned above up for grabs. Other prizes, such as the ROG Azoth Gaming Keyboard and ROG Keris II Ace Gaming Mouse have up to five that are available to win.

The prize pool for the 'ASUS Special Prizes' category is smaller, and consists of a TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT OC Edition and an ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM Gaming Monitor. Only one of each is available to win.

Of course, there are the usual set of T&Cs accompanying the prizes. Usual ones include the usage of your entry for promotional content, and that winners will be notified within 31 days of the winners' selection (so make sure to check your spam and junk email folders). If you're an ASUS employee, contractor or otherwise an affiliate, you're also not eligible to enter.
