With Blast Premier World Finals 2024 having recently ended just nearly a month ago, there is now another CS2 event happening here in Singapore.
The eXTREMESLAND 2024 Singapore open Qualifier event will take place from 28 November to 1 December, with a maximum of 16 teams eligible to compete. The tournament will feature a single-elimination format, with each match being a best-of-1. Teams will consist of at least three Singaporean players or be part of a Singapore-based esports organisation.
On the first day of the qualifier, matches will run from approximately 5pm to 10pm. The top 8 teams will advance to the group stages, held at Elixir Esports Holland Village. There, they will be split into Group A who will play on 29 November and Group B on 30 November. The group stage matches will run from 5 pm to 11pm on 29 November, and from 11am to 7pm on 30 November.
On the final day, the top four teams will have their matches held at the XM Studios' Esports Hub, located at Kitchener Complex. These matches will run from approximately 11am to 8pm. The winning team from the Singapore qualifier will be awarded a fully sponsored trip to Shanghai, where they will compete with the best CS2 teams in Asia for a share of US$100,000.
For those planning to watch the games live, there will be a fan village viewing area with food and drinks available for purchase. Additionally, there will also be activities hosted such as a CS2 shooting challenge to win t-shirts, Red Bull Singapore cans, Elixir Esports merchandise, and ZOWIE gaming gear.
