It’s official. Apple has just announced that the Apple Vision Pro will be coming to Singapore and other international markets from 28 June 2024. So it looks like the rumour we published last month was right.
Announced during WWDC 2024, the mixed-reality headset will be launched in nine countries for the first time outside of the US launch in February. China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore will receive the headsets first on June 28, followed soon after by Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom on July 12.

The Vision Pro, first unveiled in June 2023 (last year's WWDC), was initially seen as a potential game-changer that could make augmented and virtual reality mainstream. It overlays 3D digital content onto the real world using eye and hand-tracking technologies along with the sensors onboard the headset.
Check out what we thought about it in our first-hand experience, our concerns on why sharing it won't be easy, Vision OS app compatibility momentum, what other tech reviewers think about it, and possibly plummeting demand due to its drawbacks.
A year later, today, Apple announced updates to the headset's operating system, which include Travel Mode on trains, Mouse Support, the creation of Spatial Photos, and more. For more information regarding VisionOS 2, check out our story here.
Local Pricing and Availability
To recap, the Apple Vision Pro will be available in Singapore on 28 June. It will retail starting at S$5,299 and have storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Pre-orders begin on 14 June at 9am SGT. Readers can pre-order via the Apple Website here (check back on the pre-order day for a working URL, or you can head over here).
As expensive as the main Vision Pro hardware is, expect to set aside a lot more to accessorise and protect it. Other optional purchases are the ZEISS optical inserts required for those who require vision correction, which start from S$149. A separate Apple Vision Pro Travel Case will be available for S$299, and AppleCare+ for the Apple Vision Pro will be available for S$749.
