MSI Announces Three-Pronged Approach to Product Positioning at Computex 2013
MSI has announced its three-pronged approach to reach out to its customers at the company's press conference in Computex 2013. In addition, it also showcased new products like high-end Z87 motherboards, new Lightning and Gaming series graphics cards, as well as its updated S20 Slidebook.

MSI has announced its three-pronged approach to reach out to its customers at the company's press conference in Computex 2013. They have their overclocking segment that consists of mainly PC components that have been OC Certified, while the newer Gaming series is targeted at serious gamers. But MSI also addressed the need of the common folks with is classic products that has the broadest range. In addition, it also showcased new products like high-end Z87 motherboards, new Lightning and Gaming series graphics cards, as well as its updated S20 Slidebook.
Mr. Charles Chiang, Corporate Executive Vice President of MSI, announced the three-pronged approach of its product launches, for reaching out to more consumers.
One of the high-end motherboards is the MSI Z87 XPower that features a whopping 32-phase VRM design, with its OC Certified tag to target overclockers and power users. It sports the same color scheme as the MSI Lightning series.
The MSI Z87 XPower motherboard that not only supports the latest Intel Core CPUs but also comes OC Certified to target power users and overclockers.

Speaking of the Lightning series, MSI also showcased its new MSI GeForce GTX 770 Lightning graphics card that sports Military Class III components for stability and durability. With their Twin Frozr IV fan shrouds with the Lightning series color scheme, it is almost impossible to tell the cards apart.
The MSI GeForce GTX 770 Lightning card is the one below the AMD Radeon 7970 card . Both cards feature Military Class III components.
Seen at the press conference was the GeForce GTX 770 Lightning's counterpart from the Gaming Series, the MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming card.
From its classic product segment was the updated S20 Slidebook that has been updated with a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor. In addition to the product showcase, MSI also invited representatives from its hardware partners, Intel and NVIDIA, to share the stage with Mr Charles Chiang.
The new S20 Slidebook has been updated to feature the latest Intel i7 'Haswell' processor.
