Patriot Memory has released the new Gauntlet Node, its new wireless personal storage enclosure which the company had revealed earlier this year at Computex 2012.

Patriot Memory has released the new Gauntlet Node, its new wireless personal storage enclosure which the company had revealed earlier this year at Computex 2012. Previously known as the Gauntlet Wi-Fi, it offers up to 1TB of untethered external storage, can be fitted with any new or existing 2.5-inch mechanical hard drive or SSD, and is hot swappable for no hassle use with multiple drives.
With Gauntlet Connect (available via Google Play, Amazon App Store, and iTunes), the Gauntlet Node has the ability to share or stream 8 connected devices for on-the-go productivity or entertainment. Powered by a lithium ion battery, it can stream movies, music, and photos, or transfer data continuously for up to 5.5 hours.
