Amazon-owned networking brand Eero has officially released two new Wi-Fi 7 mesh networking systems in Singapore. Say hi to the Eero 7 and Eero Pro 7. These systems join the previously launched Eero Max 7 (read here), which was initially exclusive to ViewQwest subscribers but is now available to the public. Together, the three models form a complete Wi-Fi 7 portfolio, offering connectivity solutions for homes of all sizes, from compact HDB flats to large landed properties.
Starting with the base Eero 7, it is a dual-band BE5000-class router supporting 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. It delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 5,000Mbps (688Mbps over 2.4GHz, and 4,324Mbps over 5GHz) and has two 2.5G Ethernet ports. A single Eero 7 offers coverage of up to 2,000 sq ft, whereas a three-pack configuration extends coverage to roughly 6,000 sq ft.

The Eero Pro 7, by comparison, is a tri-band BE10800-class model that adds support for the 6GHz band in addition to 2.4GHz and 5GHz. It offers combined wireless speeds of up to 10,800Mbps and has two 5G Ethernet ports. Like the Eero 7, it delivers the same coverage figures – 2,000 sq ft for a single unit and 6,000 sq ft for a three-pack. The maximum speeds for its three bands are:
- 2.4GHz - 688Mbps
- 5GHz - 4,324Mbps
- 6GHz - 5,762Mbps
Finally, the Eero Max 7, which launched in Singapore late last year, is now available for public purchase and offers the highest specifications in the lineup. As a recap, it is a tri-band BE20800-class mesh system and it delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 20,800Mbps. For wired connections, the Eero Max 7 includes two 10G and two 2.5G Ethernet ports. One unit covers up to 2,500 sq ft, and a three-pack extends coverage to 7,500 sq ft. The maximum speeds for its three bands are:
- 2.4GHz - 688Mbps
- 5GHz - 8,640Mbps
- 6GHz - 11,520Mbps
All three systems support smart home connectivity standards such as Matter, Thread, and Zigbee. They also utilise Eero’s mesh networking technologies, which include TrueMesh, TrueRoam, and TrueChannel. These features help manage network traffic, optimise performance, and improve coverage across a variety of home layouts.
For users seeking features beyond basic network management, device monitoring, and guest network sharing, an Eero Plus subscription is available. This optional service includes VPN access (via Guardian VPN), malware protection (via Malwarebytes), password management (via 1Password), content filtering, internet backup, and more. The subscription will set you back S$13.98 per month or S$139.98 per year.
