Microsoft’s new range of low-cost Surface tablets is likely to launch soon.
Spotted by WinFuture, the filing appeared on FCC and reveals a low-powered charger which should be sufficient to charge a smaller Surface tablet. The FCC listing indicates that the Surface tablets have already gone through test and are ready to launch.
Bloomberg reported in May that Microsoft planned to compete against Apple and the entry-level iPad with a new range of low-cost Surface tablets. With a base price of US$400, these Surface tablets are said to have 10-inch displays, USB-C ports and 20% lighter than the current range of Surface devices.
