Apple is expected to announce three new Mac models and three new Mac accessories on 31 October.
Apple's 31 October event could see the debut of the M3 chip and 6 new devices according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.
In his latest report, Gurman says he does not believe the 13-inch MacBook Pro with M3 would be announced. The refresh for the 13-inch MacBook Pro model is still in the works and is likely to ship with a "base version of the M3 chip".
Having said that, consumers can look forward to the launch of a new 24-inch iMac, and two high-end MacBook Pro (14-inch and 16-inch) models.
In line with its switch to USB-C for the iPhone and AirPods Pro (2nd generation), Gurman says Apple is likely to unveil new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad. These new Mac accessories will have USB-C ports instead of Lightning.
As it is a Mac-focused event, Gurman states that it is very unlikely for Apple to announce any other new devices such as iPads. The AirPods lineup is slated for a major overhaul over the next two years.
