We all know Apple is going to announce new iPhones sometime in September, with 10 September being put forward as the most likely date. But what about Macs?

According to the rumour mill, Apple will update at least three Macs this year with its new M4 chip

First on the list are the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros. The duo were updated last year around October and there’s a good chance we’ll see them get updated this year too.

Next on the list is the Mac mini. Word on the street is that the Mac mini will receive a major redesign this year. One that would make it Apple’s smallest computer yet. The Mac mini was never updated with the M3 chips, so it's due for a refresh.

The final Mac on the list is the iMac. The iMac will reportedly be updated too, even though it was only updated last year. Interestingly, the iMac never received the M2 chips and instead went straight from M1 to M3, so an update to the M4 chip will be somewhat unusual.

Judging from the past dates of Apple events, it's likely that these new Macs will be announced sometime between mid and late October.
