Apple is said to be introducing the M3 chip on three Mac devices in October.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg shared in his Power On newsletter that consumers should expect the first M3-powered Mac devices to launch in October. As it is too early for new high-end Mac devices, Gurman says Apple will debut the M3 on the next iMac, 13-inch MacBook Air, and 13-inch MacBook Pro.

The Apple M3 is reportedly built on TSMC's second-generation 3nm process which will offer better performance and higher power efficiency. At least one version of the M3 chip is believed to have 12 CPU cores, 18 GPU cores, and 32GB of memory.
