Analyst expects 6 new Apple devices to be released in the first half of 2020
Reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims Apple is going to release six new devices which include the next-generation iPhone SE model, iPad Pro models, a smaller wireless charging mat, AirTags, high-end headphones, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air.

A smaller wireless charging mat is said to be among the six upcoming devices to be released by Apple in the first half of the year.
The first half of 2020 is likely to be a busy year for Apple as an analyst claims there could be at least 6 new devices released by June.
Reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims Apple has several major new hardware products planned for the first half of 2020 which include the next-generation iPhone SE, the 2020 iPad Pro lineup, a new MacBook Pro and/or MacBook Air with the scissor-switch keyboard, ultra wideband tags, high-end headphones and a small wireless charging mat.
The upcoming iPhone SE model, which is also known as the iPhone 9, is said to be entering mass production sometime next month. However, the outbreak of Wuhan virus could affect production and supplies of the device for its rumoured launch in March.
The 2020 iPad Pro lineup is said to come with a new 3D sensor system which allows the creation of 3D models of rooms, objects and people. Purported renders of the tablets reveal little design changes except for a triple-lens system on the rear.
Kuo did not specify which MacBook model would be refreshed with the new scissor-switch keyboard, but an earlier report by DigiTimes suggests that a 13-inch model. This could be referring to a 13-inch MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.
The ultra wideband tags, commonly referred as AirTags, were leaked in previous versions of iOS 13. The AirTags are expected to make use of the U1 chip in the iPhone 11 to pinpoint positions of other ultra wideband devices.
Kuo did not share much information on the high-end headphones, but he reported in February 2018 that Apple had plans to release a pair of "high-end over-ear" headphones. Bloomberg also had a similar report in June 2018 that Apple wants to compete with Bose and Sennheiser in the premium headphones segment.
While Apple cancelled the AirPower wireless charging mat, Kuo believes the company is working on a smaller one. The AirPower was reportedly killed due to overheating and complexity of the circuitry. Apple might have addressed these issues in the past year with a smaller wireless charging mat.
